Great job....I agree the extensions on the blade will help...Looks like the plow complements the machine. It’s not too heavy...Thanks for a great video.
@@MainvilleATV We have an old Big Bear at work with a plow that I use. Two years ago we had over 4 feet of snow, this year not enough snow to even shovel off the sidewalk...
Nice set up I use to use a 4 wheeler to plow my driveway and barn yard . It took me five hours but was better than plugging in a tractor and more fun , but the best fun has been putting a 7-6 meyers plow on my truck and doing it all in 30 minutes and warmer too . liked your video your machine could push snow
I don't mean to hurt your feelings but your machine looks beautiful when it's not covered in mud...OK i'm a trail rider. The plow is awesome and the speed of mount is flash fast. I'm always amazed what ATV's can push, and did not think you'd be able to clean up the end of your driveway. Seams like you still have the visco lock front diff...i saw that tire spinning. Excellent video i enjoyed!
It doesn't matter to me because I drive a Jeep Wrangler with snow tires but for anyone inexperience and in a regular car can be thrown off the road by the windrow
I'm Canadian. I hate snow. I hate shovelling snow. I hate clearing cars. I did however, watch this video from beginning to end in awe.... living vicariously.
These assassinators are nice, but you can definitely get by on stock tires with lowered psi. My Grizz has no issue with worn out stock Maxxis tires at stock psi. I agree with what you say at the end about not needing Assassinators
I've bin ATV plowing for 20+ years...Here's a few TIPS--- If you want to reduce your time and fuel...start your passes with the blade at FULL ANGLE. The blade will dig more allowing less passes. Then at the end of your drive steer into where the snow is being pushed or sloughed off...this will help prevent a huge mound. When you clear next to structure...you should put the blade at a hard angle...to prevent making a wall next to the structure. Always use the angle most of the time. The straight blade is good for clean-up.
I use Kenda Bearclaws but that isn’t 6 in. of snow. Usually I use the Quad after I plow with my truck just for cleanup. Once in awhile I have to stack it with the Skidsteer but no matter no nice plow.
I have a 300 yard driveway and i plow an area the size of a football field with my 850 and the 72 inch flex plow . I took the drift cutters off because if the road is slippery and there is heavy snow the drift cutters will hold too much snow and torque the ATV sideways which is not good when you're up close to buildings and vehicles . I put a kevlar winch line protector on my winch line and it's worth every cent . They all come too long so i cut mine so 1 turn will go over the drum . Saves flattening and work hardening the wire line and eventually breaking it . I also put on an oval fair lead . The kevlar line protector is a long tube that fastens around the wire with velcro . I cut it to the right length and fastened it to both ends with duct tape .
Nice Job. You guys have a lot of snow up in the valley. Here in Kingston, we could almost cut the lawn. I have a Warn plow on my Grizzly and it rocks. Beats the hell out of shoveling.

Great video - thanks for sharing! As a Brit who lives in a country where 2 inches of snow brings the place to a standstill, I have little experience of clearing snow. However, a question for you. When you cleared your drive, you pushed all of the snow to the end and created a "wall" across the drive entrance. Then you seemed to have to spend quite a lot of time pushing that snow to the edge so that the drive entry was clear. Why didn't you push the snow to the edge in the first place at the end of each pass?
He would have ended up leaving a ridge of snow across the road by doing that. Where I live that's actually illegal. It doesn't stop contractors cleaning out people's driveways from doing that, but still, it's illegal.
Recently I bought a used 1000 R and I am now working on installing a snow blade. Hey thanks for the video I plow with 2003 technology suzuki Vinson with moose plow . I dig your set up !#! Nice quad !
Thank you very much!
We just bought a new kodiak 450 yamaha last year, we are new at it . still have factory wheels and rims can you recommend a good aggressive wheel for all seasons and what is your thoughts on the tracks ,
That was cool. Nice set up…👍🏽
You might want to consider some sort trail groomer setup for the rear it seems like it would just do a little bit nicer job
I came to see the assasinators you titled on and you're tryin to sell me a freakin plastic plow. Jeeeeeeezzz.
What is that you are using to put your go pro on your bars ?
GoPro Jaws Flex Clamp (GoPro Official Mount) www.amazon.ca/dp/B00F19Q2R0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xw2cEb1PHHA8T
I have a steel one on my honda foreman & I seems to me that mine cleans all the way down better.I have a contract with 60 driveways in a HOA that I use it on to help out
Great job on the review Kyle.
I like the way that Alpine performs. The only draw back is that your machinery keeps you exposed to the elements which may be why you have that cold. All the best!
I loved it also. The weather doesnt bother me just yet but Im sure itll get old one day!
Just found the channel and digging it I have an outlander 650 myself. What lights are those in the headlights? And how are they installed?
What orange lights do you have installed?? Would be nice to have one or two installed
Got it off Amazon.
Nice quad! Great video!
How do you like that four wheeler? What all have you been able to do with it besides shoveling snow?? I figure you find time to play on it but I mean as far as work?
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT STROBE LIGHT IN THE RECEIVER FROM?
Did you put a lift in your machine, in order to run assinators?
I like your machine and the strobe light on back!
Thanks Chris!
Hi what brand is that strobe light ?
Amazon no name
That thing is gorgeous
Hello. How much to you need use gas, that you could full clean yard ?
Maybe 5 canadian pesos? Not a whole lot. Thanks for watching!
Sweet setup
Hey, cool video. I just got rigged up with a plow myself but already broke the cable first day. How can i get set up with the sensor? Thanks
The sensor is from CanAm, it's just wired into the relay for the plow, quite simple if you find one for your machine
@@MainvilleATV ok thanks, 570 Outlander
Awesome plow awesome quad will that fit on a 570 Polaris
Thanks. It's a canam plow and it's discontinued. So don't think so
What handle bars do you have on your outlander and where did you get the handle bar mount?
Stock handle bars, the riser is made by original mods design
that thing sounds sick, listen to that rumble!!!!!
Much better in person wide open in mud haha. Thanks
Definitely easier to hook onto the quad than the Warn Provantage plows
I dont know how its gets easier than this haha thanks for watching
Do you think extra weight on the plow would do a better job cleaning? Looks like it is leaving a fair amount of snow (could be the angle of the camera)
Its on purpose, I leave a film to pack and cover the gravel. it cleans amazingly well already.
