I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful comments I'm getting under this video. As for the song.. I had already chosen Creep for Rocket in October (before it was officially released on Spotify). Then I saw the song on Spotify, but I still didn't know it would be linked to Rocket until I saw the Vol.3. I've always thought this song was his, and seeing him sing this song in the Vol.3 made me especially emotional. Thanks again everyone.❤
Well, he probably heard it for the first time just before Tony’s funeral or maybe Thor’s a fan of Radiohead and he introduced Quill to their stuff whilst he was in the Guardians.

In an odd way, Rocket is really the heart of the family. Wow! Whoda thought an animated raccoon with acoustic version of Creep in the background would have such a powerful emotional affect. INCREDIBLE. Gotta see it.
At the beginning of the film when peter yells at Rocket he calls rocket a raccoon. Rocket responds with, "I'm not a raccoon" and as to finish his thought, the song continues,"I'm a creep." Best into to any marvel movie ever.
As someone that has been broken by family by strangers.. abuse in many forms I cried almost every part of rockets breakout and fits I can feel this character..too bad he's only real in screen..
There was a Spotify playlist and probably other things too with all the new songs from the movie which came out a while ago so they probably got it from that
Rocket is so complex as a character, and you can really notice the raw emotions he holds within. But he has to hide them all because of all the BS that happened to him. In order to be strong for others, Rocket must banish all his monsters.
chemistry between yondu and rocket was something.. they speak and act like they dont give a shit, but they are both weak and kind inside. they just adjusted to their surroundings
i dont know why i cried over this video clip 😢 but i just did. i was literally in tears, when this song was played at the beginning of the movie..love this version
I just realized rocket has gone through the most emotional shit between almost loosing groot on top of Lylla and then loosing everyone in infinity war 😢
*SPOILERS* Rocket was the heart of the Guardians movies. Glad he's got a full arc and redemption. Just wish they'd focus a bit more on him, instead of bringing in a lot of other threads and having it mesh together. Rocket and Groot meeting was an important thing they left out. Maybe also how he was running, or escaping capture all this time. We see Rocket's early past, but mostly while he was unconscious. And he had a few lines with the Evolutionary, and then made his lines about saving the other animals and racoons. But, really, he needed to talk and have more lines about his present feelings about facing the Evolutionary, ...just the lines like "I'm done running" and "you didn't want to make things perfect you hated things as they are"
True. Though in a way when he sees the crate full of baby raccoons, his response says it all; in its own way by not having him say many lines in Vol. 3 it actually largely recontextualizes his previous lines - they all mean more.
when thor calls him "sweet rabbit" it makes me cry so much, even though its a small clip im sure rocket thought about floor....she was so sweet and just wanted "rocket teefs floor go now"

I remember once hearing that Creep was one of the few songs that they regretted making as they felt embarrassed about it and felt it didn’t fit their image. It seems like a perfect fit for Rocket at the beginning of the story - he has spent two films putting up his facade but now, we see him at his absolute weakest point as he’s trying to act like someone he isn’t to fit his image and feels so regretful about his past that he would hide it all away and never share it outwardly
All 3 of them are spectacular movies. I think I still liked the first one more but I love that this one took the much more serious route compared to the first 2.
