I'm not a Penn State fan but the chipmunk logo is the only one that's ever used and is iconic even if it's not a fierce lion or anything like that. They tried the computer generated lion logo and that didn't stick even if it says it existed until 2008. Also, the paw logo? You like that? It looks like a sticker for an 8 year old.
Oregon is actually an outline of the football stadium in green and Hayward FieldTrack is the middle loop for the “O”. So both stadiums are in there. Watch something on the New Hayward Field Track Town complex! It’s Freaking awesome
Apparently the current main logo for the Ducks the green part is Autzen Stadium and the middle is their track field, but it just reminds me how many natty’s they have won 😂
Not sure how old Ginger is, but the Longhorns alternative logo from '66 to '78 was a typical sailor logo many teams used during that time. Michigan had a sailor logo as well as Baylor and several other teams. The Longhorns did win a few national championships during that time though.
I still see Phillip Seymour Hoffman wearing the Sooners 1979 - 2000 logo on his hat in 'Twister' And Bill Dance (not a fan of fishing shows but the bloopers are funny) wearing a Tennessee Volunteers hat on his fishing show which I believe used to be on TNN.
i like ohio states logo bc im big into trees and ohio buckeye is a pretty cool tree. u can tell ohio buckeye from yellow buckeye bc when you break a ohio buckeye twig it smells like a skunk that’s so cool
Lsu changed the logo on its helmet and you have to be really close to tell the difference but it looks generic now. It used to he a primitive rendered photo of mike the tiger roaring. Now its a generic cartoon
my Cincinnati Bearcats 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 even we was never great as a team we was good 2009 2020 2021 90s 80s garbage hopefully we will win a championship one day ❤ loyal to my team win or lose

The volunteers vols logo is actually good
As a person who lives in Knoxville that orange color in the fall is so aesthetically pleasing.
Do more! Love to see more SEC & Big Ten logo history by you. This was fun!

Looks like a high school logo
"get hooked" is so cringe how did that get approved 💀
7:09 I just figured out what the logo is and it is genius. It looks like a hurricane, but it also looks like an Ibis stretching its wings out forward.
Oregon is actually an outline of the football stadium in green and Hayward FieldTrack is the middle loop for the “O”. So both stadiums are in there. Watch something on the New Hayward Field Track Town complex! It’s Freaking awesome
That’s what I was thinking it had something to do with track
5:44 Oregon's current logo symbolizes their track for their track and field (inside) and Autzen Stadium (outside)
Apparently the current main logo for the Ducks the green part is Autzen Stadium and the middle is their track field, but it just reminds me how many natty’s they have won 😂

I did not know that Tennessee had that rifle logo from 1987-1997.

4:05 looks more like a Champagne cup to me
87-91 Buckeyes logo is ridiculous 🔥🔥
Nah that Pitt logo w the big P and the panther walking across the “ITT” is the best one they’ve made
5:18 the usc logo did actually have Trojans in their logo because they have some on the old NCAA football games
the throwback “OSU” was used for a baseball jersey last szn

One of the current secondary logos for Pitt was missing. There’s a almost diamond looking shaped panther logo that looks pretty sick
Alabama basketball used the Old logo last weekend. Went over very well
10:53 bro the top right is legit just utah & the cleveland indians put together
The modern Oregon "O" is formed from the outlines of Autzen Stadium and historic Hayward Field. Nice blend of history, I think.
bro doesn't even talk about the Donald Duck logo that's their best logo for organ
The Utah Utes logo is pretty damn phenomenal
Hey now!
Miami's mascot is an Ibis not a crane.
Great video
These are logos used for print, signage, merch. They are not necessarily part of sports uniforms.
You did some of these logos already a year ago
ohio states NEEDS to go back to the 1987 logo, that shit is awesome
Make this a series by conference please DG
The present Oregon "O" is an outline of their stadium
UC Bearcat "C-Paw", best logo in college sports.
i love the bevo logo
Michigan had the same logo, they just made it a darker yellow.

As a Cincinnati fan some of those logos are embarrassing
All the present ones look better. I wonder if boomers think the originals are better
