What a georgios view you have! We've got a very small amount of grass and we use a very small cheap corded electric and love it. But I can see how a cordless would work much better for your yard.

I have artificial grass now. Used to have a riding lawnmower in WA. I loved it. Sometimes got a little too fast and wild with it and tore up my edging!. You have such a beautiful view. I do have a Ryobi screwdriver.

It was interesting to see how simple and easy to operate one of those type mowers. Once again Alaska Granny you are so helpful with information.

Nice to see another brand in action. Ive been curious how it compares. Glad you find it helpful to you. How exciting!
We have the EGO battery operated push mower. We have a huge yard, and it includes a hill. The EGO is a champ. It got through the first mow of the season with relative ease (majorly long grass, lots of thick wild stuff, wet).
We happen to have a lot of EGO products (including generator) and a lot of batteries, so it made sense for us to go with EGO brand mower.
It is so nice to not fuss with gasoline. It is relatively quiet and I dont get headaches from the gas/oil. 1 battery lasts about an hour, which was enough for the back yard. EGO has indicator to show how much battery is left while in use.
    This was fun, thanks.

Battery life, does anyone have experience/advice on how long the life is? I hesitate because I started to buy into a line, a weedwhacker, and a very small hand tiller. LOVED both, but the 4 batteries only lasted 2 years of dis/charges. Please keep us updated!

I have a hill we have to carry our mower up. Is the 30+ pounds with or without battery? I am thinking we could carry battery separately to make it lighter?

I got a Green Works lawn mower, and then watched to get extra batteries when they were on sale. When you mow over rough areas the battery discharges faster. I love my electric mower!!

Good thing yours only uses 1 battery at a time and that you have 2. I need to buy another 2 batteries for mine, so I don't have to wait for it to be charged when I have a heavier than usual workload. Otherwise it's fine. Having a wireless mower that does not require you to purchase fuel, makes less noise and doesn't have flammable fuel is surely great. My neighbors have ones with cables, I could not manage having them, too cumbersome. 😁
You have very beautiful views, cinematographic! Maybe you can make some videos with that as your background now that the weather is warmer.

Yes, the lawnmower is great. I usually run of energy after the 2 batteries, and mow again tomorrow. It actually takes me 4-5 days to get around all of my property, but it's great exercise.

I bought a corded electric mower from Sears during a sale in the mid-1980s to replace a push mower and left it with the kids who bought my house 8 years ago. Saw them still mowing with it when I drove by recently. Don’t have a yard I need to maintain currently, but a battery powered one that uses the same size/type of battery is what I would do if I needed to get a new one. I already have a Ryobi drill and jigsaw that uses the same batteries. Every June around Father’s Day HD has a Ryobi Tools Days. A few years ago I bought a pair of lithium batteries that size to help tools run longer. That entitled me to a Free tool so I got a battery power shop fan. We don’t have AC so it really helps move the air around on late summer/Autumn days.

I have had a similar Ryobi Lawn mower for 5 or 6 years and I love it. Mine came with only 1 battery and then I bought another one. I highly recommend having 2 batteries. I used to have a gas mower. I repaired it a couple of times but the last time in broke I decided that (1) it wasn't worth the effort to fix it and (2) I'm old enough that I didn't want to repeatedly pull the starter rope any more. So I bought the Ryobi. It's one of the best purchases I ever made.

I agree, no more struggles with a gas lawn mower.

We have this mower. The battery charging requires some forethought and dedication and although it mows easily it doesn’t mow evenly. That doesn’t matter much to us but it might be noticeable. My biggest pet peeve: cleaning it at the end of the season. Other than hosing it down there’s no way to adequately maintain the mower like we used to. It was pricey too! Somehow I had thought there would be a rebate but there wasn’t. Look for a sale before you buy! 🙂

I got an electric mower a few years ago. There are areas that my riding mower does not access. It always starts with a push of a button, no oil or gas, not as much power, but for me and small areas it works.

I used a Neuton 20" battery operated mower in So. CA for about 20 years. I had to replace their 40v battery and the handle 3 or 4 times over the years. Neuton went out of business and DR Power no longer supported the mower. Last year I bought the Ryobi 16" mower (same as yours) for my 1/2 acre property. I works great. My son wishes we bought the 20" model (at $100 more) since we now walk more with the narrower passes. I told him it's just more exercise! I think you may need the ride on model.
