Great question! And sitting in my cab is a meter I need to install! I guess you develop a feel for it. I’d say the cast loader probably holds 6-9 gallons
I find that if I mow in a figure-of-eight pattern, starting with a straight cut down the middle of a field, I do not have to turn the tractor around each time I'm at the end of a run. Saves time! I circle around one half of the edge of the field and then do the other half. I makes my life easier! I love that articulated Maxo - 57hp - that means it should be able to pick up a ton on the forklift, etc.!
I run a 544H John Deere wheel loader, which is on the smaller end of thier full sized loaders, as part of my job. It's not as tipsy on hills as that one is but its still generally the least stable machine on the job.
Nice demo of a very useful farm tool. The Cast Loader would easly find it's way into farming. Wonder if the tree puller will work on it and working clearing out the woods and bush?
This was really cool seeing the Cast Loader in action. So now that we have seen what it can do without the weight kit, now they have to send you the weight kit and we see what it's capable of!
That loader brush hog combo looks like it would be a good setup for cutting around bodies of water all the way down to the waters edge. This could be especially useful in places like here in Florida where you frequently have to worry about the local reptiles or slipping into the water itself.
The Cast Loader tractor articulates and when turning, the tractor design front and back overlaps, which extends outside its turning radius / path at the bend and that part of the tractor is in the way of anything in it's radius. Not a great design when you dont want the tractor sticking out and hitting things when turning. I researched for a year on what tractor of all designs has the best: Lifting capacity, smallest foot print, best size tires for the most inexpensive price and features, does not take DEF fluid, etc. I ended up buying a used 2016 WACKER NEUSON WL32 articulating loader. Best decision I ever made. It is easy on fuel, tires are all the same size and in the price range of about $250-$350 each, which is less than double for the next size up in loader. Lift capacity is 5,200lbs, quick button release for attachment switch out, loader breaks in the middle evenly and does not extend outside of its path when turning. Small foot print of 4 1/2' wide x 14' long. I can turn a 90 degree corner at a 90, and waste no space doing it. I can get into most gated back yards and maneuver around anything easily to get the job done. It takes all skid steer quick disconnect attachments. The tractor has been very stable on working steep hills and driveways at all angles and never had it close to tipping. I solid foam filled the tires, which added 1000 lbs of weight to stabilize the tractor even more. I do not regret ever buying it, never needed more than what it gives and it fits every application I have thrown at it in 3 years of using it.
Josh, I chuckled a little, when you were putting the wire in the dumpster. The camera went in, but the fence didn't. That's the stuff that happens to me on a daily basis. Hahaha
I traded-in my 50hp Kioti cab tractor for an Avant 528. For my homestead, the Avant was a much better use of my capital. My Kioti had ~80 hours after 5 years. I’ve had the Avant for a few months and it is already over 11 hours. The 528 is 25hp Kubota - no diesel emissions crap. It can lift over 2,000 lbs. I got a hay grapple and have used it twice. The Avant fits inside my metal building. The tractor did not. Half or more of my 36 acres is wooded. Can’t use a big cab tractor in the woods unless you have good cleared paths. I got the 4-in-1 bucket, pallet forks and a cutting bar with electric angle adjustment to keep the slopes mowed. I should’ve got the industrial/tractor tires instead of the 0-turn type tires and would recommend them to anyone with a farm as you know those 0-turn type tires spin in wet grass and mud. The Avant has a quick attach system that is proprietary but, I think worth it. It is a snap to change implements and disconnect/connect hydraulic hoses. As far as being “tipsy,” I believe the Avant has the lowest center of gravity of the compact articulated loaders and I have side and rear weights. Still, it would be nice if they offered the dual wheel kit like the Ventrac has. It would really make it rock solid on slopes, especially when turning while carrying a load. I take it slow, gradual turns and keep loads low on any slope. (For those wondering, I mow the pastures with my 60” 0-turn. There’s a ~48” flail mower available for the 528 which I might get in the future. But, I think it would be better to invest in a commercial quality 0-turn 60” or larger for mowing.)
That mystery box was opened during a live on Josh's other channel, Cows and Coffee. Here's the link for that video. Pretty cool "thing", check it out. ruclips.net/user/live8gfBCvqhf6Y?si=fKtUmyk_PtLwFymA
I’m sure it takes a lot of work doing all this content. How much time a week would you say you spend planning episodes, planning shots, setting up, filming, and editing these videos. How much video do you take to generate a 45 minute video. Do you save all the raw video or just the Final Cut? On channels like Discovery gold rush they have an entire crew taking care of this work and you seem to do it by yourself or with minimal help? Great job.
I know this video is just demonstrating the capabilities of the equipment but have a question about the mowing section. That grass looks really great, woul you normally vp it tjat for hay or let the cattle graze it and this is just a demo? Second, drone question. I’m super impressed with all that goes into setting up cameras and doing drone shots and all the editing. Do you have a drone operator? The reason I ask is if not, I was trying to figure out how you do the shot where the drone camera pans with the equipment driving by.
I hi Josh I am thinking of buying a t1104 I am a avid watcher and subscriber of your channel was wondering your true thoughts on the the tractor it seems you’ve had really good luck except for the the recent def issue
Interesting machine. I'm in the market for a tractor to maintain my 13 acres, but this could do it also it looks like. Car eto share the advantages or disadvantages of this over a 30-40hp tractor? Also , generally what do these things cost? Thanks
landfill sorts these materials my friend....I could start a nice scrap pile on the farm if I wanted to I guess..then take it to the recycle yard and get less for it than it cost me to haul it there. Trust me...I'm all about recycling.....this will be dumped and sorted
Well, if I want to turn green with envy, just tune in here, lol. I’s too poo to buy anything. There’s nothing like poverty to make living in the country a regrettable experience.
I would like to know more about you. I just started watching your channel and basics like what’s your name? How old are you? Whatever you wanna tell me
that was galvanized steel....I could haul it to the recycle and spend $10 on gas to get $2 for it or let them do it at the recycle center at the dump. They typically will separate things like this. Spend $10 and half a day or let them do it at the dumping center? Now ya understand?
No gauge on your fuel tank or nozzle to let you know how much fuel you're pumping ? Hmmm 🤔. 🤣

I enjoyed watching the loader doing work.
Wow ! That saw is neet !! Get allot of work done with that thing 👍🏼👊🏻

Good morning Josh glad to see you are doing good👍
The cast loader looks like a fun machine to run.
It sure is!

This would definitely be ideal for landscaping! Looks so fun!
Dumpster guys gonna love you whenever he tries to dump it
Hey Josh thank you for the video Woo
Josh, another great piece of equipment for the farm 👍😮😊❤
I'd love to have some of those water tanks for raised garden beds .
Loved this video. Cool machine & attachments👍👍
Pretty cool!
Bonus for heavy equipment. Man card accepted 🍻
I love watching your videos so much l love tractor 🚜
Josh, I chuckled a little, when you were putting the wire in the dumpster. The camera went in, but the fence didn't. That's the stuff that happens to me on a daily basis. Hahaha
Gotta love getting rid of old fencing, just did that the other day. Used my tractor bucket to smash it down.
I like it! 👍
Good entertainment Josh!!
Appreciate you my friend.
It needs wheel extenders like the Ventrack
Great video God bless
Good Lord man if anybody needs a dump bed trailer it's you😮
I know right!
I'm pretty sure he still has a small dump truck.....

Was hear. Wooo
ask them to give one more set of wheels like the ventrac tractor.
you could have moved all six at once Tetris for old people😊
Tipsy on hills is a deal breaker for me. The only flat land I have is where I make it flat - so not much
If you look at a yard that has a zero turn mower then there is a dead circle where they run every time
Unless they have learned how to use it properly. Zero turn doesn’t mean cutting sharp circles to me…. It’s just faster and more maneuverable 🤠
Could you build adapters to put dual wheels all around for more stability ??
What's in the mystery box your teasing us with 🎁 😂😂

What about the tractor that stopped working when you were busy trying to harvest your pasture

😁👍👍👍

Like a kid with a new toy! Me too!🤣 You could charge money for guys to operate your equipment a day.🤣

Looks like you are missing the fuel cap
🙋🏼♂️. 41:20 👁️ c IT. …….. 🧢
As a farmer don't you recycle to avoid certain things going to a land fill rather than sticking it all together in a dumpster.
landfill sorts these materials my friend....I could start a nice scrap pile on the farm if I wanted to I guess..then take it to the recycle yard and get less for it than it cost me to haul it there. Trust me...I'm all about recycling.....this will be dumped and sorted
My goodness 🤦♀️
🤔 You are not recycling ?
What's the width of the machine?
Imho the the video is a little bit too long. 20 mins would've been enough. In other words: I vote for more dense content.
Wait a second why don’t you scrap your metal instead of throwing it away?
Well, if I want to turn green with envy, just tune in here, lol. I’s too poo to buy anything. There’s nothing like poverty to make living in the country a regrettable experience.
interesting take my friend....one question though.....why choose poverty?
I would like to know more about you. I just started watching your channel and basics like what’s your name? How old are you? Whatever you wanna tell me
paying to fill your dumpster with aluminum that can be sold. REALLY ?
that was galvanized steel....I could haul it to the recycle and spend $10 on gas to get $2 for it or let them do it at the recycle center at the dump. They typically will separate things like this. Spend $10 and half a day or let them do it at the dumping center? Now ya understand?
