Pleasure Crawford, thanks again for your business 🤝 apologies for the South Lanarkshire weather! Thank you for coming to the Open Day and showing what we do - much appreciated!
One of them crushers on demo would be nice to see on your recent demolition job. See what like it's after and what you use it for. Ie leveling up ground or infill
Alw was us thought those thumb attachments were a stupid idea imported from America UNTIL I had a go with one when knocking down a building, now I think they should be standard on all machines, great bits of kit.
The gps signal issue maybe more to do with world events and electronic warfare. In a similar way the Russians and Chinese accidentally cut undersea fibre cables they also mess about with gps satellites. Google GPS jamming and spoofing, airlines are having lots of problems with it.
That pie looked delicious 😋. I’ve been looking in on their RUclips channel and they are definitely expanding their offering of attachments. I’d be interested to know the parts and service back up. Yes, small bits and pieces but they have to work when needed. 👍🏴🇺🇸
Agree 100% - backup and service is non-negotiable in my opinion but can only prove that over time of course. Let me know if I can help with any advice etc Cheers, William
We have got a pecker and made a cup attachment to change with the point we use it for driving posts when fencing. So much quicker, easier, more versatile and useful than the post banger on the tractor.
You need to get yourself a mixer feeder ,make your life easier as your stock levels increase. The latest machines will weigh all the various ingrediants avoiding miscalculations and saving money.
@CrawfordsFarm1 it was vicious over here on the North West Coast of Ireland. Electricity crews still out trying to fix lines after it 😬. Ye get enough I'm sure to make up for missing out on it this time 😆
Why do you feed concentrate to dry suckler cows? They are on ad lib baled silage, surely that is all they need? Economically how does that stack up plus fat cows will have big calves and calving problems?? Minerals via a bolus perhaps??
They are only eating 1.5-2kg per day so not a lot, easy way to get the minerals in & also get them all in the scrape passage easily if im bedding them that morning. Silage is diluted slightly as they consume straw alongside the silage. Not had problems up till now with big cows/big calfs. Touch wood.
