  • Hi Friends! In today's tutorial i'll be showing you how to make the Summer Daze Cardigan!
    This sleeveless cardigan is light weight and perfect for summer! The instructions include 12 sizes ranging from toddler to 5X! Instructions make a cardigan approx. mid thigh length but you can easily adjust it to be longer or shorter! The length of the pattern is determined by the number of chains made at the beginning. To adjust the length, chain a multiple of 6 + 2.

    Thank you so much for including child sizes with this pattern. I have two daughters, 5 and 8, and it is so hard to find patterns that look current and trendy in their size. They will be so excited when I tell them that I can make it for myself and them too!!

    Thank you for this tutorial. Super easy to follow. Love the fact that you've got the instructions at the top of the video. It's hard finding videos that list what stitches are used during each row as the video goes along. Just got a new job that I can get out of my scrubs and wear business casual clothing. Most of my current yarn stash is going to go to long vests, shawls and cape like wear 😄 Cannot wait to get started on this!!!!

    Thank you for your tutorial. I was wondering if this pattern could be knitted instead of crocheted.

    Thank you for sharing.I have a question:Are the front panels half of the back panel or how many rows less,as I noticed when you that when you sewed them there was an opening on the neck.Thank you!

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  Год назад +1

      Hi! The front panels are less than half the width of the back so that there is a gap for your neck. What size are you making? Most of the sizes have a gap that is either 7 or 10 rows less.

      @@universe1313 Glad you're enjoying it! For the medium size, there will be a gap between the front panels 10 rows wide

    Another question....how many chains do u do for an adult small?

  • @simonashay

    Hi q : for the gauge pattern what do you meant rep rows 1-7? Please?

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  2 года назад

      For the gauge you'll Chain 14 then follow the instructions for rows 1-7 of the pattern, then repeat row 2 once more, for a total of 8 rows. You're gauge swatch should be a 4"x4" square. If it is larger than 4" you'll need to go down a hook size until you reach 4". If it is smaller than 4" you'll need to go up a hook size until you reach 4". Hope that answers your question!

    • @simonashay
      @simonashay 2 года назад

      @@TheTurtleTrunk thank you so much, I did it and I got 4" for the sts but for the rows I ended with 4.5" can I start or not please?

      @@TheTurtleTrunk I have the cobbo yarn weight 3 and it's more thin yarn then what you've got

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  2 года назад

      @@simonashay That should be fine, your vest may just turn out a little bit wider. You can easily adjust the width by not working as many rows though.

    Hello there, I am a new subscriber to your channel. Thank you for the effort and the beautiful work❤ I was wondering, in the photo of you wearing the cardigan, I can see only 4 repitions of rows 2 to 4 in each front panel. Then why does the instructions say "13 repitions of rows 2 to 4" for size small front panel? Am I missing on something?
    Please I need reply. This is an important project for me, and I am already in the middle of it

    Very upset because I am not counting the ch 2 as a stitch, as directed, and my sides came out completely uneven. I can't figure out where I missed a stitch

    But I can hear the spit in your mouth.
    Like is this on purpose? Like ASMR? Because for me i cannot focus kn what you are saying.
