Thank you, a beautyful vest. I made a vest like this using a different stitch pattern. It worked out great, exept I had to alter it a little because my hips are 2 sizes larger than my chest. I ended up adding more rows under the arm. It worked out really well and looks very nice. I want to make this one also, but this time try to add more rows to the front going up to the neckline so I can button it. You do explain everything very well, it is easy to follow.

So pretty. About to watch the whole thing. I went to AC Moore and you are right. Their yarn is great and I got a bunch of it. They had some of their #3 yarn $1.88/skein and it's super soft and silky!

17:06 starts discussion of yarn amounts. 23:10 starts discussion of size changes. But I think increasing the sides(to increase the size)will add to the sleeves length.
So gorgeous! I watched it so the way through an I'm trying fyi fugue out where I would add rows so I could make it close in the front to put buttons. Maybe just as a few more rows in the beginning but then it will add more in the sleeve, so I'm not sure if it will look right.

It depends on what size you are making, what yarn you are using... Hard to predict these variables..
I don't know what I did wrong , I've counted and counted, but my second front panel, my row before the long chain, ended on the wrong end.
I am 5 ft and 100 lbs. I am confused on how many stitches to start with. I don't want it to be too long. Only to my hips. Otherwise I understand the well informed instructions. Please it someone can advise me I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
