RC4WD have come out with an all new Pro Rock Racer, is this the best versatile combo Rock Crawler Racer you can buy? Let's take a look at this new truck!

This needs another chance on some terrain it was intended for. My recommendation is to find someone with an Axial Bomber and take them on a hiking/mtb trail that has some rocky sections and some straights to open them up on. This will give a better idea of its' capabilities and compare it to a "rock racer" in the same class.
Youre definitely not aware of its capability, or usecase given you dont understand the suspension or the truck its based on for that matter.
Good review but I think you need to understand what this is before you really rate it. A Rock Racer is not an offroad buggy nor is it a basher. A Rock Racer has a lot more in common with a Crawler. It tends to do one thing well - climb up steep inclines, at speed, getting over rocks, roots and other obstacles. And that means some crawling, to tackle less technical climbs. No doubt, RC4WD is a bit 'overzealous' with their naming (not the first time) lol, but this is an RTR and it's not going to break apeed records (what RTR does?). Like any RTR, it will need a bunch of mods to get the best out of it but this thing will do pretty well on the trails and tackling climbs at a good clip!
Yeah, I just try to show how it drives and let the viewer decide if it is capable of doing whatever they want it to do.
@@RazorRC For sure, all good, but I think viewers might not get what this truck is about. I love seeing something different, though, nice change!
Looks pretty durable. It’d be interesting with a bit more motor. I heard they are 1200 or 1250kv.
trailing arm suspension?
Interesting rc. Thanks for sharing it!
Great review man, well done 👌
My 69 Camaro getting a LS motor 😂 , really cool to make an exact working replica and it's understandable if it can't perform as well as it's RC brother - we forget 30 mph is 300 mph for the rc
nice scale detail for sure
Very nice rig!! Great review!! 👍😎👍
thanks
Nice👍👊💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This truck reminds me of the Traxxas Summit, which is supposed to be both a crawler and a basher, but is actually poor at both these roles...
This has absolutely nothing in common with the summit!
The summit is awesome monster truck. It isn't a LMT but mine is a 2sp erevo with diff locks the vxl6s made it alot more enjoyable though
And its only 500 bucks
- It is sad to see someone that has the opportunity to own & drive this new rig, go and drop it on the ground like it had "no value"... "Why" !!?? 😏😔
This is all to common in the U.S., and I think people really need to learn/or re-learn the value of our purchases & money... our investments. 🤔 💪🇺🇸
Huh? It’s not an “investment”, it’s a toy to have fun with. I had fun, it’s a fun car, I didn’t break it, what’s the problem?
Slowest 3S buggy I've ever seen lol for a rock racer it won't be winning any races, that's for sure.
It seems that you don't have a clue how a rc rock racer usually performs.
You really are familiar with off road vehicles. 👎🏼
Please don't send it lol
too late!
First :P
Indeed!
What a pathetic thing to give someone for 500.
A review from rc driver his had a few issues.. those rear bump stop shocks had little black pieces at the ends where his fell off.
Also on one of the side panels the corner was broken off where the screw went through..
He did like it though as those issues were minor..
I'm thinking that many that buy this may up the ante with a more powerful brushless system to get closer to the scale speeds of the real rock racer it was built to look like..
I saw that, I think the bump stops fell off mine in the box, didn't even know there were supposed to be some.
