Yah, "Be" is my absolute favorite revolution theme song in it's subtlety, yet smashing through religious themes too. Sunlight. If you want a song for a summer day, that one's amazing.
@@thethirdbill sorry I should've told you... I know that now. I'll do it from now on :) (I'll pretend I'm not freaking out because you replied thanks for your videos I love you bye)

my first thought was exactly that- the two music videos you shouldn't watch when you're being introduced to hozier is take me to church and cherry wine (both music videos deal with heavy topics)
i.need.a.new.nickname the song describes the abuse the narrator is going through at the hands of his girlfriend. the narrator basically describes how he’s fine and he doesn’t want his mom to worry about him, and how he doesn’t want to leave her (so i guess sort of what you’re saying???)
Hozier is a 3000 year old forest god whom we STAN!!! And hopefully one day him and my favorite faery queen Florence will make beautiful heart wrenching music together.
I've decided to make a more productive comment. So it's pronounced ho-zee-er with the hard r at the end (he's said it in an interview). He's very inspired by blues - in case you couldn't tell. A lot of his songs are so ethereal and the lyrics tend to be from one perspective while the video is from another (as with cherry wine) which is one of my favorite things he does but it's hard to pick up on if you don't pay enough attention. If I'm not mistaken, he has mentioned that when he swears in his music it's very purposeful (see: NFWMB). Anyway, he's the love of my life, he rules over the lesbians, and he is a woodland fae who lives eternally. Thank you for finally reacting and I hope you will stan forever because he deserves it
You got my feeling listening to Hozier: "It's like someone is hugging and comforting you, but at a funeral. It's welcome, but it's a strange and needed at the same time. It's like getting an Ice cream while something really bad it's about to happen"! Men, that's the feeling.. it's really art!
"It's like getting hugged a lot at a funeral." That... is oddly accurate. All of your descriptions of his music are really fitting. I agree with everyone else's suggestions for a part 2, and I will also add the song Movement to the list. It's a really powerful song, I think you'd like it.
You missed the fact that the scene of the man and woman breaking into that house at night was in the past. They broke in to stay the night there and found an abused kid alone. They took him. Technically kidnapped him away from an abusive family. They were both good and bad people.
That what makes the ending of that video so bittersweet. They shouldn't be robbing people so it makes sense that they were arrested. But it's sad because you know that it means the child's reprieve from being abused is over. This was probably one of the rare times he has been happy
That's why I love the snake from Eden metaphor. The snake cannot get inside Eden himself. But it's duty is to guard the door and keep the evil out. "Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago" "I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door" Basically to say, I recognize your struggles, I have been there before. I am not a good person, I won't be allowed in Eden myself, but I will make sure to guard your door, keep the evil out, so you can have a chance.
I was so ready to actually hate the video from the title, but the only thing I didn't like in this video is that he edited the music in and then stopped the music right when my favourite parts were about to happen. I legitimately think I'm in love with Hozier
Clementine Kitten I absolutely love Noise Making (Sing)! It’s one of my favorite songs, and was one of the songs that made me happy during a hard time in my life!
To add on to the discussion about Nina Cried Power: That song, while it’s primary focus is on race and race issues (particularly in America), also has a more direct connection to the Forest Man himself. In 2016 Hozier, Saoirse Ronan, and Jim Sheridan joined Dublin’s homeless population is a peaceful protest over the “Bad Banks” and housing crisis in Ireland. They took over an abandoned office building and collected food, clothes, and beds. The Go Fund Me page for the cause raised over 90,000 euros (about $94,000 usd) to aid the over 200 homeless people in Dublin and the over 4,900 people living in emergency housing (including hotels and hostels). I don’t mean to distract from the focus of NCP (which, again, is about race issues which I am far to Caucasian to give meaningful commentary on) but Hozier is more than a Lanky Forest Man. He uses his fame and resources outside of his music. He knows when to speak (or rather sing) and when to take action. Part of the reason why I “stan” Hozier is because I know that A) the only scandal he would be involved in is exposing a scandal and B) he is a genuinely Good celebrity who deserves his status and uses it as a weapon. If nothing else, Stan Hozier for actions, regardless of his talent.
"while it’s primary focus is on race and race issues (particularly in America) - not sure, I take it to mean civil rights in general, rather than race per se, people featured in video are all sort of activists in Ireland,
Just wanted to say that technically, all 5000+ people mentioned are homeless. We make a distinction between “rough sleepers” (those on the street itself) and other homeless people. But they’re all homeless. Whether in hotels or hostels, emergency housing, or the floors and couches of a rotation of friends (I’ve been there personally, it’s bloody awful). All homeless. I just thought it was important to note, because we need to count ALL homeless people, not just the rough sleepers. Because when just rough sleepers are counted as homeless, it makes the problem look much, much smaller than it actually is. And it is a massive problem, worldwide.
"See I don't trust you this sounds really soft and light and happy - something bad's gunna happen" "you're upsetting me in a nice way" where is the lie?
You really nail Hozier’s sentiment towards music. He always wants to make a point with his music, he wants it to make you feel and to question whether the status quo is what it should be
Let’s just start with this: Cherry Wine is my favorite song of all time. I grew up queer in the Catholic Church in a Mormon majority town. I was in a physically abusive relationship in my early teens when I was trying to be straight. I was in treatment for mental issues for years after that. Take me to church made me feel loved on a level I had never experienced in my life. Hozier’s worlds feel like coming home❤️ I will stan till the day I die
Edit: this is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I really enjoyed your fresh perspective on these songs I’ve listened to so many times. I loved how thoughtful your analysis was of each song, great work! new fan
Hey! I'm a fan of Hozier's happier music, so if you wanna be more uplifted I would recommend Almost Sweet Music, Sing, and Someone New as really good songs to be moved by but not cry to. Edit: Also Dinner and Diatribes
This was fantastic, man. A few things: 1. Hozier is pronounced the same way as “cozier,” with the “r” at the end pronounced 2. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend Take Me To Church with the music video; I didn’t fully understand the song until I watched the video with it (a warning, though- it’s very sad and dark) 3. If you want happier/more upbeat songs, some recommendations: Almost (Sweet Music), Jackie and Wilson, Dinner and Diatribes, and Would That I (maybe Sunlight, too) (some other favourites of mine are NFWMB, No Plan, and In The Woods Somewhere) EDIT: how the hell did I forget Jackboot Jump?? Add Jackboot Jump to this list
a shrike is a bird that pieces it's prey on sharp thorns to preserve them for when it wants to eat. shrike to me is about a codependent relationship with and incredibly powerful person, love in a gruesome way which is a strong theme in hoziers music.
Lyric from cherry wine: “Her fight and fury’s fiery, oh but she loves *like sleep to the freezing* “ I think you’re right to say that the song is supposed to have a lullaby, love-songesque quality to it. The song is supposed to be comforting like sleep to a freezing person. It feels good but in reality depicts a really toxic and dangerous situation.
The thing that makes it so clever and heartbreaking is that if a freezing person falls asleep, they may not wake up. It's meant to feel safe and comforting but under the surface it's killing them.
jackie p IN THE WOODS SOMEWHERE IS HAPPY TO YOU??? Forest Man said that it was inspired by a dream where a horse was killing children in a forest??????
oh i love hozier, if you do another video for him, please listen to "Movement" and "Like Real People Do", both are beautiful songs and the video for "Movement" is intense and compelling.
So I’m glad you recommended like real people do. Before me and my boyfriend got together like three years ago I tried to use that song as a hint to him that I was interested because that’s a normal song to use for that purpose. 😅
They aren't the boy's parents in From Eden. There's a short flashback clip from where the couple finds the kid in a house they're robbing. He's in bad shape and in a bad situation, so they take him with them. Technically kidnapping but...
something additionally beautiful about work song is that the "she" pronouns double as an unnamed person and Ireland herself. From interviews with him, the she/her come from the Irish folk tradition--abstract references to Ireland during English occupation, so the point you made about his body going back into the ground is literally him being reunited with his own country and staying home forever
I'm Really Glad You Liked Hozier! Heres some other Hozier songs to react to in the future if you wanna! Jackboot Jump Wasteland Baby! Take Me To Church Nobody Someone New NFWMB Dinner & Diatribes Movement
Yea, should definitely do Take me to church not just for the song itself but for the music video too. And Jackboot Jump coz that song is basically a fuck you to system and police brutality. Also I would love to see reaction to NFWMB.
Bill: "trying out new things in pop culture 'cause I've been living under a rock" Ah don't worry so has Hozier.. just minding his business far away in the forest :)
PLEASE do a part two if you can, I highly suggest listening to his newest song Jackboot Jump. I also recommend Arsonists Lullaby, Someone New, and Jackie and Wilson
Hozier really has two moods-- big, deep feelings that really hit you and (not so) subversively horny. His music hits me in a way that no other artist ever has and even more so when I’ve seen him live. My goodness, he is incredible live. If you want to listen to more from his other end of the spectrum, songs like ‘No Plan,’ ‘Talk,’ ‘Moment’s Silence,’ ‘Dinner & Diatribes,’ ‘To Be Alone,’ and ‘Would That I’ are all excellent. This whole video has got me feeling the Hozier vibes big time, right now.
to me Hoziers music, like From Eden and Work Song, have a kind of anarchist vibe. when he says "lay me gently in the cold dark earth" and the music video of From Eden seem to be breaking out of the societal standards. when I watched the music video of from eden, I was impacted by the man and woman taking care of the kid and being good when the child needed them, yet they still get arrested for trying to get by and give him a good life. in a way, a lot of Hoziers music points out how society is broken in various ways, but it also points out the beauty of things outside society, things that are natural. I'm very happy you reacted to him because I genuinely love him so much ❤
for other hozier songs i’d definitely recommend ‘foreigners god’, ‘in a week’, ‘dinner & diatribes’, and ‘nfwmb’- a happier one would be ‘to noise making (sing)’. my favourite of his songs is ‘sunlight’ x
From Eden, they saved the boy from an assumed abusive house when they were breaking in. What I get from it is that people can be bad and do bad things(for example armed robbery) but also inherently good in some respects, like saving a child. I suggest Dinner and Diatribes, Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene, No Plan, and Run.
SCREAMS BC IVE WANTED THIS FOR MONTHS. He's literally my favorite single artist ever. It's pronounced Ho-zee-er btw, but no big deal, his name is Andrew Hozier-Byrne. Song recs: Almost (Sweet Music) Arsonist's Lullaby Take Me To Church (Music video is important) Foreigner's God Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene Movement Wasteland, Baby Talk Dinner and Diatribes
"Please let this just be a bunch of happy music." "We're starting with Cherry Wine." well... This was a great video; I LOVE Hozier and I'm glad you got to experience how moving his music is! I'd love for you to hear "Arsonist's Lullaby", "Someone New", "NWFWMB", and "In a Week". God, it was so hard not to type out all his songs! They're so poetic lyrically, but the music itself is really grounded because he uses his voice to showcase the song and not the other way around? Idk if that makes sense but anyway it's good! Thanks for doing this video.
THIS VIDEO MADE ME STAN Y O U you’re so soft and emotional and it makes the music huRT EVEN MORE- also: i hope you get lots of hugs and take care of yourself. his music gives me feelings too T-T
Ok, I can now articulate myself. Thank you, Bill! Also, in From Eden - they find the kid locked in the closet while doing their cat burgling thing and "save" him from the domestic issues by taking him on the road with them where he is maybe cared for in a more loving way. If you're picking up what I'm throwing down. Not the best at explaining things at the best of times. But you've made what has been a very trying week much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! More please, also sorry that you got put through the ringer on right off the bat. I love how he forces you to Feel.
Try to stan Mitski. She's a beautiful artist. Her early music is simple and raw(the song, "Class of 2013" even just consists of one chord and her screaming to her mother) but her later music uses more electronic instruments and causes a totally different kind of emotion. I recommend your American girl, class of 2013, first love/late spring, two slow dancers and nobody
I was scared you were going to make him watch “take me to church” which Might have broken us all, but you could have rewarded him with a little “almost(sweet music)” he earned it. But great as always. Work song is so great. This is such an amazing channel. Would love to see trying to Stan Harry styles. But y’all would please me if you chose the long version of “adore you” . If you wanna do more some slightly less,, gut wrenching songs are No Plan, Dinner & Diatribes, Angel of Small Death and The Codine Scene, Sunlight, Talk. And the really sweet ones,, To Noise Making (Sing), Almost (Sweet Music) and Wasteland, Baby!
In the From Eden video, Hozier and the woman are vagabonds and they rob convenience stores for money. On their travels, they found the abandoned little boy, decided he shouldn’t be alone and took him along. It’s not as bad as it seems. 😂 Also, his name is Pronounced “Hoz-ee-er”! It’s mispronounced all the time, so don’t feel bad! Other songs you should try are No Plan, Wasteland, Baby! And Run!
When I saw tears in your eyes I was like OH HE GETS IT !! Because this is exactly how I felt when I first got into Hozier's music! I'm so glad you liked it!
Me: "Oh, cool. I heard about this artist, but didn't listened to his music. This will be fun" Bill: *starts crying during first song* Me: "Oh, well..." *crying* Me
This is probably way too late to be seen, and someone else may have said it but if they did I missed it. The final line of each chorus in Shrike, the "Remember me love when I'm reborn, as the Shrike to your sharp and glorious thorn," is a reference to the behavior of the Shrike in nature, but not in the way you thought. When a shrike kills its prey and impales it, the bird often doesn't eat the whole animal at once, especially not larger lizards and mice. Instead, it tears off some meat when it first kills the prey, and then leaves the body hanging as a cache of food for later. With the romantic metaphor, he isn't saying he's growing from their relationship. He's saying that he'll find them again, if not in this life then in the next one (afterlife or reincarnation). He's saying that he'll never be over the relationship they had, and that he'll always want to return. just as the shrike always returns to the same thorns to feed again.
I got so excited when I saw this video and literally screamed at bills "I want a chill video" at the beginning like uhhh ya you're not gonna get it In a week (is a must, and I haven't seen it recced yet) Arsonist lullaby Dinner and diatribes In the woods somewhere Jackie and Wilson
I was looking forward to this one so much! I'm glad you picked up on the men and women part of cherry wine because a lot of people miss that. You did wonderfully. If you've never seen the video for Take Me To Church or really listened to the lyrics, i recommend it. Even if it isn't on camera. It is such an important song and it just kinda got played off as a popular radio hit.
I always thought Cherry Wine was about how the abuse can warp a mind, he talks about how much he loves her even though she beats him and makes him bleed, even going as far as to say her violence is a gift and that he's blessed by it. I also like how the song talks about female-on-male domestic abuse that's not mother-to-son, which is unheard of in the media but is a very real thing. Also please if you stan a second time, try Sunlight, Like Real People Do, and In The Woods Somwhere
From Eden, the couple is breaking into the house and they find him locked up in a closet. They see he's being mistreated so they "adopt" him. Then the gas station robbery. The arrest. The goodbye. Not actually their kid. They rescued him from an abusive situation.

"it's beautiful and devestating" is probably the best description of Hoziers music I've ever heard. His music can absolutely ruin you especially when listened to in sequence like this for the first time but after listening for a while you start to feel the empowerment from his songs especially Nina Cried Power is such a perfect example for the devestating to empowerment progression Edit: I would also love to, in the case of a part 2, suggest Sunlight Sedated Movement Arsonists Lullaby In A Week

Check all his stuff out, you are in for a treat of your life my friend. And you pronounced his name wrong, you have to pronounce the "r" Sorry🙃
the thing about cherry wine is that he sings about a relationship where the woman is the abuser, but the video is about a relationship where the man is the abuser. i love how he brought awareness to not just domestic violence against women, but domestic violence against men.
He’s one of my favorite artists of all time. He’s incredibly intelligent and such a strong performer, I saw him live last year and he was on stage for 2 straight hours. Not all of his music is slow and sad sounding! He has a lot of upbeat music too, but it all has a powerful message in one way or another. He has a lot of religious themes in his music as well. I highly recommend watching some interviews with him, or watching him talk about what his songs mean to him. A little bit of info on the name, it’s pronounced like cozier but with an H. Think hozeer. It’s his last name, Andrew Hozier Byrne. He’s very politically and socially active, he has a podcast called cry power with global citizen which is also worth checking out.
Shrike: okay so I don’t trust this because it sounds lovely This is every Hozier song.... is this about something light and fun? Maybe, Maybe not. But I loved this video. We Stan Hozier.
Also because I, too, wish to decompose in a bed of moss, preferably on the altar of some long-forgotten forest God.
And it is a massive problem, worldwide.
well this aged like milk. clearly you didn’t see his handsome squidward scandal. it was absurd. shocked me to my very core as a fan.
@@fbeaz when you live by the Squidward filter you die by the Squidward filter😔🤌
"See I don't trust you this sounds really soft and light and happy - something bad's gunna happen"
"you're upsetting me in a nice way" where is the lie?
You really nail Hozier’s sentiment towards music. He always wants to make a point with his music, he wants it to make you feel and to question whether the status quo is what it should be
A true artist and gent :')
Bill: Please just let this be happy music
Bill: Okay, so we're gonna be starting with Cherry Wine
Me: Oh dear god...
hozier loves to drink his respect women juice
Bill: I’m gonna start with Cherry Wine
Me: oh god...
You okay now sweetie? Talk to us!
are you okay now? or almost there?
I'm in a similar situation - queer in a Christian family - and I get the same feeling from music like this
I can’t be the only one that laughed when he said “are you Someone New?” while watching cherry wine, right?
Edit: this is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I really enjoyed your fresh perspective on these songs I’ve listened to so many times. I loved how thoughtful your analysis was of each song, great work! new fan
@@katiecarothers9732 NOPE
@@katiecarothers9732 I noticed that as well😂
Laughed immediately
Hey! I'm a fan of Hozier's happier music, so if you wanna be more uplifted I would recommend Almost Sweet Music, Sing, and Someone New as really good songs to be moved by but not cry to.
Edit: Also Dinner and Diatribes
Edme yes to all of these!! I would also recommend Jackie and Wilson for the bop style vibes!!
movement is good too
and talk!!
It’s allll good, I find dinner and diatribes very intense, I cry to that frequently lol
Sunlight, too!!
This was fantastic, man. A few things:
1. Hozier is pronounced the same way as “cozier,” with the “r” at the end pronounced
2. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend Take Me To Church with the music video; I didn’t fully understand the song until I watched the video with it (a warning, though- it’s very sad and dark)
3. If you want happier/more upbeat songs, some recommendations: Almost (Sweet Music), Jackie and Wilson, Dinner and Diatribes, and Would That I (maybe Sunlight, too)
(some other favourites of mine are NFWMB, No Plan, and In The Woods Somewhere)
EDIT: how the hell did I forget Jackboot Jump?? Add Jackboot Jump to this list
Also a happy song: Be and No Plan
this is a good list !!!!!
Work Song is one my absolute faves and not too terribly sad!
Meagan work song is so good omg
“in the winter i was frozier”
a shrike is a bird that pieces it's prey on sharp thorns to preserve them for when it wants to eat. shrike to me is about a codependent relationship with and incredibly powerful person, love in a gruesome way which is a strong theme in hoziers music.
Lyric from cherry wine:
“Her fight and fury’s fiery, oh but she loves *like sleep to the freezing* “
I think you’re right to say that the song is supposed to have a lullaby, love-songesque quality to it.
YES this is my favorite lyric. It took me a long time to notice it.
When a person has hypothermia and is freezing (it's to death), they fall asleep. There is nothing comforting in these lyrics or lullabyish.
some more (less depressing) suggestions:
talk
in the woods somewhere
sunlight
almost (sweet music)
movement (the music video is stunning)
This!! Throw in Sing as well!
Remove in the woods somewhere and replace it with dinner and diatribes
jackie p love ur profile pic!
Jackie and Wilson
jackie p IN THE WOODS SOMEWHERE IS HAPPY TO YOU??? Forest Man said that it was inspired by a dream where a horse was killing children in a forest??????
oh i love hozier, if you do another video for him, please listen to "Movement" and "Like Real People Do", both are beautiful songs and the video for "Movement" is intense and compelling.
Two of my favorite songs of his. Movement literally moves you.
So I’m glad you recommended like real people do. Before me and my boyfriend got together like three years ago I tried to use that song as a hint to him that I was interested because that’s a normal song to use for that purpose. 😅
Agreed!!
I have been listening to Movement for the past week
Shrike!!!
They aren't the boy's parents in From Eden. There's a short flashback clip from where the couple finds the kid in a house they're robbing. He's in bad shape and in a bad situation, so they take him with them. Technically kidnapping but...
IN THE WOODS SOMEWHERE - gorgeous, ethereal, whimsical, perfect. (another Hozier song)
dude that song’s sooo underrated i love the vibes in it sm
I'm still waiting for that song to be used as the theme song to a suspense thriller film
Yesss it's perfect yet so underrated!!
YES, it's so underrated
me: maybe he’ll start with a happy song like someone new!!!
bill: *its cherry wine time*
something additionally beautiful about work song is that the "she" pronouns double as an unnamed person and Ireland herself. From interviews with him, the she/her come from the Irish folk tradition--abstract references to Ireland during English occupation, so the point you made about his body going back into the ground is literally him being reunited with his own country and staying home forever
Yup bc folklore and the language has Éire (Feminine) for Ireland and we also had a Goddess for Ireland called Éire or Éirú
I'm Really Glad You Liked Hozier! Heres some other Hozier songs to react to in the future if you wanna!
Jackboot Jump
Wasteland Baby!
Take Me To Church
Nobody
Someone New
NFWMB
Dinner & Diatribes
Movement
Bill definitely needs to listen to Someone New and Sunlight!
They are the bit of joy you need between Hozier's heavier songs
Almost (sweet music) is fabulous too! I also love sing and Jackie and Wilson!!
put Movement on this list
@@nathansalim Will Do!
Yea, should definitely do Take me to church not just for the song itself but for the music video too. And Jackboot Jump coz that song is basically a fuck you to system and police brutality. Also I would love to see reaction to NFWMB.
Bill: "trying out new things in pop culture 'cause I've been living under a rock"

YES YES YES YES YES
JACK BOOT JUMP IS THE BEST SUGGESTION
WAGES
These are pretty much my four favorite songs. I don't know how to order them though lol.
" My lovers got humour, shes the giggle at a funeral"

I want to see him live so bad. Just seeing Lollapalooza livestream was intense and beautiful, I can only imagine what it is like in person.
to me Hoziers music, like From Eden and Work Song, have a kind of anarchist vibe. when he says "lay me gently in the cold dark earth" and the music video of From Eden seem to be breaking out of the societal standards. when I watched the music video of from eden, I was impacted by the man and woman taking care of the kid and being good when the child needed them, yet they still get arrested for trying to get by and give him a good life. in a way, a lot of Hoziers music points out how society is broken in various ways, but it also points out the beauty of things outside society, things that are natural. I'm very happy you reacted to him because I genuinely love him so much ❤
“Still get arrested for trying to get by,” because they weren’t doing anything illegal at aaaallll 😂
Sedated also has that anarchist vibe! I love it so much & feel like it's kinda underrated
Yes! That combined with his amount of talent as a lyricist is exactly what makes me love him.
hozier is such a beautiful swamp king and i stan him SO hard
for other hozier songs i’d definitely recommend ‘foreigners god’, ‘in a week’, ‘dinner & diatribes’, and ‘nfwmb’- a happier one would be ‘to noise making (sing)’. my favourite of his songs is ‘sunlight’ x
Foreigner's God is one of my favorites! So good!
Ugh Sunlight just never fails to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up
Em Sunlight is my fav too, I just adore the vibe in it and his powerful voice so much

Foreigner's God
Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene

This was a great video; I LOVE Hozier and I'm glad you got to experience how moving his music is! I'd love for you to hear "Arsonist's Lullaby", "Someone New", "NWFWMB", and "In a Week". God, it was so hard not to type out all his songs! They're so poetic lyrically, but the music itself is really grounded because he uses his voice to showcase the song and not the other way around? Idk if that makes sense but anyway it's good! Thanks for doing this video.
THIS VIDEO MADE ME STAN Y O U
you’re so soft and emotional and it makes the music huRT EVEN MORE-
also: i hope you get lots of hugs and take care of yourself. his music gives me feelings too T-T

I highly recommend "In a Week ft. Karen Cowley" -- what's more romantic than decaying together??
I love that song but I can never show it to anyone because they'd all be super disturbed 😂
A lot of things, lol
All I want is to decompose in a body farm with my soulmate
Ok, I can now articulate myself. Thank you, Bill! Also, in From Eden - they find the kid locked in the closet while doing their cat burgling thing and "save" him from the domestic issues by taking him on the road with them where he is maybe cared for in a more loving way. If you're picking up what I'm throwing down. Not the best at explaining things at the best of times. But you've made what has been a very trying week much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! More please, also sorry that you got put through the ringer on right off the bat. I love how he forces you to Feel.
Your first instincts were right LOL, it's "Ho-zee-er"
Try to stan Mitski. She's a beautiful artist. Her early music is simple and raw(the song, "Class of 2013" even just consists of one chord and her screaming to her mother) but her later music uses more electronic instruments and causes a totally different kind of emotion. I recommend your American girl, class of 2013, first love/late spring, two slow dancers and nobody

@@thethirdbill it's okay. I'm an emotional person too.
When I see that someone's crying - I'm in tears too.

They rescued him from an abusive situation.

the thing about cherry wine is that he sings about a relationship where the woman is the abuser, but the video is about a relationship where the man is the abuser. i love how he brought awareness to not just domestic violence against women, but domestic violence against men.
