    Charlie Tuna was one of the greatest DJs!!! He was also one of my favorites!!! I absolutely loved him!!! Those were the days when we had KRLA and K-earth played oldies!!! Now I don't even listen to radio!!! My stations are gone and so are my DJs!!

    Wow!! Look at all those people live and local there. Now you're lucky if there's one person at the station and then it's only for morning and afternoon drive. This is how radio should be

      So true. I was a DJ for almost 40 years. When I retired at 65 from a 7 station cluster in 2017 there were only 8 live DJ’s for all 7 stations. All other shifts were syndicated or voice tracked. (Per- recorded).

    Tonight I’m missing him so much! 💔
    #BackToThe70sWithCharlieTuna was my favourite. I was so bummed when I found out he passed...
    His voice is unlike any other radio host.

    Excellent recording. Well done. I have received USA AM reception via DX on 1110kHz here in Melbourne Australia, though not KRLA. I actually heard KFAB Omaha.

    I was a fan of AFRTS RADIO shows cos I lived in Caimanera, near the Naval Yankee Base in Guantanamo, all a privilege, where I used to listen several radio shows with a different good DJs, one of them, the great Charlie!. I'd need to know about a jingle from a show that I have on my mind, but don't get to know the name of that show back then, I was a child then... I have recorded (with my voice) as that jingle sounded, how to send it to you to see if you recognize the name of that show pls? Thanks so much for sharing this cos I was a fan of the 3 biggest DJs for me: Casey Kasem, Shadoe Stevens and Charlie Tuna!

    If this is "morning" he's pathetic at it. The guy had no sense of humor but desperately acts like he has one.

    • @ChatGPT1111
      @ChatGPT1111 Год назад

      You're pathetic. He was one of the top DJs of all time and was good enough to be given years at the #1 station in the country for years in the #1 market and was noticed there to be given several nationwide TV shows. He wasn't even a comedian or don't you even know the difference? You've obviously got a narrow sense of humor.
