He wound up in Denver later in his career. There were some videos of him on air with his shirt off when he was on the air here. I couldn't find them now. Try "Greg Thunder" KALC or "Greg Thunder" Alice 1059.
@ Oh yeah, I found it. It's by Giant Steps and the songs called "The World Don't Need". Song doesn't hold up quite as well upon listening when compared to the part heard in the video. Check out Scott Shannon who was the PD and morning jock when the station began. He invented the morning zoo format and basically revolutionized radio with his ideas and imaging/jingles. Almost every station in NY broadcast from Empire State Building but he was the first to promote it on air, and it had a huge impact. A lot of other radio stations, on air talents and producers were very much inspired by this.
Back when you could smoke a cigarette in the studio.
Yeah, it got real foggy in there for sure. But a one time amazing life experience for me.
As good as he was, can't believe he was smokin' too -- yeah, he's a hot entertainer, BUT, I'm talkin' -- cigarette in studio!
So, any checks with Greg Thunder who followed him up? :)
He wound up in Denver later in his career. There were some videos of him on air with his shirt off when he was on the air here. I couldn't find them now. Try "Greg Thunder" KALC or "Greg Thunder" Alice 1059.
He's currently back home in Minneapolis doing mornings on 102.9 The Wolf.
Was he smoking in the studio?!? My engineer would have had a cow!

Trouvé !!!! Giants Steps ruclips.net/video/_SwWQ71mbnc/видео.html
@ Oh yeah, I found it. It's by Giant Steps and the songs called "The World Don't Need". Song doesn't hold up quite as well upon listening when compared to the part heard in the video. Reason is that the version is different from the original (you need the radio version apparently). It's a bit longer and the end is extended.
@ just saw this post that you had already found it. I had found it a few weeks back a few days after I posted here. Parles-tu francais?
@ This is the version you want. ruclips.net/video/YzV8fwHsNkE/видео.html
