Wow KKBQ Houston and WHTZ formatics were almost identical. I knew that they all fed from each other, The Q Morning Zoo and other day parts did alot of the same things that Z-100 did.. but we were on the air first. AND we got Jack Da Wack (now Cactus Jack) at KKBQ

Someone asked where Mr Leonard was. He was here in Houston. John Rio from the Q-Morning Zoo at KKBQ Houston, was the man behind the voice of Mr Leonard. The bits you heard were either phoned in or pre-recorded. He was with KKBQ until about 1986.
