  • IMMORTAL RANDY RHOADS - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE to be released worldwide on March 2015.
    One of the most venerated guitarists ever to grace hard rock music, the late, great Randy Rhoads, will be celebrated in the truest of fashions with the release of IMMORTAL RANDY RHOADS - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE on march 3th.
    A collection of 11 classic Rhoads co-written songs, IMMORTAL RANDY RHOADS - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE is performed by twenty top contemporary artists, including old friends and performing partners Rudy Sarzo and Frankie Banali, his Brother Kelle Rhoads and more designated musicians like Serj Tankiann, Tom Morello, Vinny Appice, Tim (Ripper) Owens, Chuck Billy, Alexi Laiho, George Lynch, Gus G., Bruce Kulick, Doug Aldrich, Dweezil Zappa and others.
    The album was produced & compiled by the Grammy-award winning guitarist and producer Bob Kulick at his own studio.
    A lover of classical music, Rhoads had taken initial steps into rock’n’roll as a 16 year old when he formed a band, that soon became Quiet Riot. It was never named “Little Women”, who would quickly become Quiet Riot. Rhoads was vaulted to the limelight in 1979 when Ozzy Osbourne chose the relatively unknown guitarist to help shape a new future for him via his band, Blizzard of Oz. The result saw Rhoads co-script two of the most famous albums in hard rock history, Blizzard Of Oz and Diary of A Madman, and rapidly ascended the stairway of fame and recognition for his virtuoso playing and writing. Famed for the way he fused classical flavors with technically-excellent hard rock, Rhoads became one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock. When he tragically died on March 19th 1982 in a plane accident, Rhoads was only 25 years old, but thankfully, the legend of his work, ethos and their continuing influence on a whole new generation of guitarists, has never dimmed.
    Along with the CD, IMMORTAL RANDY RHOADS - THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE, will also contain a bonus DVD, including interesting interviews with some of the involved artists, hosted by Bob Kulick and a feature on the Musonia School of Music, a teaching school on North Hollywood, California, set up by Randy’s mother and run by his brother Kelle Rhoads.

      I'm thankful for Rudy being so cool with talking about Randy so much after all these years. He's really doing his part in keeping Randy's legacy and history alive and it's easy to see how much he loved Randy. It can be a bummer sometimes cause Randy was taken way too early but it's great getting to hear anything about him from the people who knew him.

    Randy is a legend. His mad skills surpassed anything I’ve heard in my life.
    Such a master musician. He was taken way to soon. He’s missed so so much but his music and spirit lives on in my heart til I leave this earth . Maybe I’ll get to meet him then and I’ll tell him how awesome he was. Wow wow wow. After all these years . I still can’t believe it. What a loss. The full package. ❤❤❤❤

    I think when you watch interviews with artists you usually end up knowing which artists are the most real. They are passionate, respectful, & humble with music in general. Rudy is one of the best ever in sharing his love of it.

    I got a question ? For The Ozzy & Randy Rhoads Community !?
    I had a friend of mine found this one time bc I'm still looking this particular track & possibly footage ,
    I know that Randy did some Sabbath tracks with Oz mainly " Children of the grave , Iron man , Paranoid bc my friend found a rare video of R&R Playing The famous track by Sabbath " Sweet Leaf " which is my all time favorite song cause from a guitarist myself " I have Jammed it plenty of times I've made videos of me playing it alot on social - media as well as solo Ozzy songs & other Sabb songs bc anyhow I just wanted to know does anyone know about this or found it cause my friend did ??

    Bob Daisley wrote the first two records, even sued Ozzy for discrediting him, Randy just contributed the same chops from Quet Riot material, and now Rudy goes on trying to catch the action, dude, you where a mercenary like the Hendrix Band! I love Rudy but lest be honest, this is starting to sound like the Gospel of Sarzio!

      none of the two dudes in the video where present to claim Randy Rhoads wrote everything, in fact Sharon Osbourne wanted to remove the original authors with the intention to steal the publishing credits as she did with Jake E Lee, who claims he wrote tracks Ozzy claims o of paid mercenaries for...blah blah.

      Get your Fat Head out of your ass Fat Lip. Quiet Riot riffs are NOTHING like Randy's contribution in the Blizzard of Ozz band. His first band was pop rock, second band was the road paver for neo-classical metal. Get it right and listen to the music again. Wow.

    • @jennyprorock
      @jennyprorock 4 года назад

      That's odd considering he even said Randy did huge chunks of the writing, composing and lyrics. Especially when most of the songs all ended with a classical feel. Tell me again who was into classical composition? Having a fee riffs float over from previous bands is normal. You suck
