I love this ornament! Thank you for sharing the how-to. I plan to paint some of these. Years ago, I did some tole-painted ornaments and yours reminds me of them. I would love to see more painted ornament tutorials!
@@SweetWillowDsgn Me too. Started learning while living in Texas in the '80s and continued through the '90s, teaching classes at the local junior college in Wyoming. I am out of practice too. I'm loving dot painting, however. :)
This is gorgeous! I'm just getting into ornament painting/dotting, and this would be a fantastic addition to my collection. I like to give special ornaments to family/friends each year, and now, making them will be even more special! Trying to think how to incorporate a cardinal as a memorial to my Dad for this year's ornament.
Yay! I'm so glad you liked it. I thought it turned out well and I think it's helpful to others to see how to paint a similar design on different surfaces. Thanks for the suggestion!
Love this pattern. Thanks for sharing. A tip that might work also is that I’m making them for my family’s dinner table this year, and I’m going to add some sparkle sugar inside to represent snowfall. This is a beautiful idea and I love you and the tutorials you share with all of us. May your Christmas 2020 and the New Year ahead in 2021 bring you peace, friendship, love and hope.
This is beautiful. Mine close to yours but definitely different. Easy design and you always make it easy to dot along with. 🙏 to you and your son. QUESTION: Will you be doing a live dot along any time soon. I understand your situation and also understand if it is no. I'm just curious. Thank you for all you do.😊

Thank you! 😊 I don't have any plans for a live dot along at this time. I hope to be able to host some soon. Thanks for watching.
How do you keep the lines and greenery from seeing threw
I would pour white paint inside and swirl it around ..
I am new to this, so this may seem a silly question....do you need spirits to clean your tools/brushes with these paints?
