    I was actually at this show, sat 2nd row center, so got a very good view of this performance. So many of these folks are no longer with us ... such as Deborah Coleman, Chris Whitley, Robert Jr. Lockwood and Johnny Johnson. I was amazed to trip across this footage ... the memories just flood back in!!

    When I heard the opening vocals, I knew it was Paul Rodgers without being told-one of the greatest rock singers ever (of Free, Bad Company and now with Queen)! . He could sing the yellow pages and make it sound good. The black woman is Deborah Coleman, a very good blues singer/guitarist. Roy Rogers is actually an amazing slide guitarist (he;s on the acoustic guitar). He's in the widebrimmed hat, to the left of Jimmy Vaughn. Some real talent (haven't even mentioned Bonnie Raitt yet).

    Why didn't anyone notice James Cotton and Hubert Sumlin? James Cotton was part of Muddy's band in the 50's and early 60's, Hubert did like one or two tours with him until he went back to Howlin Wolf. Apparently the people that have commented aren't Blues fans.

      @RiccardoGrosso 4 года назад +1

      @Talkin Bout Nawlins bro, I know what you're talking about...the chord voicing needs to be different to don't cover the harmonica, sometimes...then you gotta leave more room for riffs...and the sound...and... :) It takes a lot of playing, listening and studying to get to that...
      By the way I LOVE the way Jimmy plays solos - they seem simple at the first listening, then you go deeper and find out a world :)

    It would have been nice if the camera-person had some idea of who they were filming for when the soloing was called out by Bonnie Raitt. Is it really that hard to learn the names of a few of the people you are videoing? .. If that's your job?

    This was a complete train wreck!! What a shame. This could have been a great performance but you couldn't even hear the guitars or the vocals. No one knew where to go, when to take a solo or anything. Theres not many verses to this song, so with 3 great guitarists up there someone should've been ripping a solo!! It looked like everyone was just looking at eachother lol.
