I recently purchased the Staedtler Norris Jumbo during the Black Friday sale and it's been a delight. I love the rubberized texture of the eraser and the fact that it's on the back of the pen. Really does remind me of when I used the eraser to erase my mistakes from my homework back in school. The grip is great as well.
hey there! how's it like against slippery glass screens? i'm getting a fujitsu lifebook t936, it's only 8 years old but the spec fits my needs ideally. it sports a wacom EMR digitizer, however it's sadly got a slippery glass screen ;( not sure about the included pen, if it turns out to be good then that's nice! but i'm looking for something with a eraser..
Wich tips are on the Lamy, for at least here in germany it has 3 different tip options. PC/EL pointed or round and POM round, with it's description saying the PC/EL tips are for smooth surfaces and the POM is for textured. Maybe thats why the feeling is so bad.
Surprised many people haven't reviewed the Wacom one pen. I broke my rM 1 stylus and it was old. Since then I have used the Wacom one and installed eraser button hacks. Has ro be my fav and for $30!
Love that you did this, but I also kinda hate that there are hardly any videos like this for digital artists - especially when they bring up the Staedler pens out of nowhere or just have them in their videos randomly. I wanted an eraser so I got an old Fujitsu pen - but it was older than I realized. It works, but it feels like a previous version of the stuff from the last few years. The calibration is off every time i tilt - or when i'm not in the dead center of the screen. I'm considering one of the chromebook pens since they tend to have erasers, but the Onyx Boox Nova 3 pen looks good for what I do. If i had the money I'd shoot for the HP Zbook X2 pen immediately, just cause of my bias
Came for the Staedtler Noris review since I just got the Jumbo. Wondering if the Classic has finer lines than the Jumbo, as per Teoh Yi Chie on Parkablogs? Using on Samsung Galaxy Tab s7+. Also majorly off topic but have you considered voice-over work? I think I'd listen to you reading the phone book for a few hours of ASMR.
The Lamy looks pretty awesome, I didn't realize that it had the button eraser 😁! Can you use ReMarkable 2 nibs with it to maybe make the feel a bit better? I've been able to use ReMarkable 2 nibs in my Boox Nova 3 Color stylus, but I know some of these can be very specific with which nibs are compatible
Does onyx boox note air 2 plus has a tilt function like remarkable 2(when i can make wide texture line)? I cant find this feature in many reviews for onyx , and saw it only on remarkable ans kindle scribe
Do the devices you mention in the description (Remarkable 2, the Supernote A5X and the Boox Note Air 2) all have the same screen surface? ie, would this survey you conducted yield the same results on each device?
Have you tried the Wacom Dr. Grip or the Samsung s6? Those look very interesting as well the samsung because it looks like the pro2 but it's cheaper and has a button, and the wacon just looks very confortable tbh but I seen no reviews about it!
Ello mate, i love your videos, keep up the good content! I love your updates everyday to make sure we have good entertainment to watch, and I have already recommended this channel to my friends and they said that they love the videos you publish. I also love the informative videos you make to inform people about the things you do. Keep up the good work buddy, you're doing great!
It feels very weird to review the feel of the tip of the pen when that can easily be replaced... Bought the felt tip for my Boox Lumi pen and it is wonderful.
Aside from the Noris all the other pens should have the ability to put whatever nib you want to put in it. I would look more for the feel of the pen in the hand.
so I finally pulled the trigger on the supernate. the roadmap, constant updates and less distractions won me over. unfortunately they were out of the heart of metal pens, so I went with the LAMY pen. from this review, I can already tell before it gets here, I'm probably not going to like the slipperyness of it. I'm not exactly sure what I want it to feel like, more like pencil to paper, or a scratchy for lack of a better word Pen, were there's some resistance against the screen for better control. For that specific device (supernote A5X) which do you think has that feel? I see a website where I could order a heart of metal but at twice the price, not sure it's worth paying that much. easer since the two finger gesture is plenty easy enough doesn't matter, just the feel or the point to the screen. I don't want it feeling like I'm writing on an iPad. thanks for the vids. the Note Air pen looks like a good choice but you can't buy that on its on at the moment
Yeah, I'd suggest reserve judgement until you try. The supernote has a different type of screen and may suit the Lamy better. Otherwise, you can buy the supernote ceramic nibs "refills" separate and these can be fitted to a Lamy or other compatible pen bodies. Otherwise the supernote standard pen is really nice as well!
Also, Voia has written notification that nib cannot be replaced. Are you sure that I can put reMarkable nib on it? ruclips.net/video/Bgj5Y7NHY74/видео.html
I got my note air 2 plus today and I’m fine with the normal pen it came with. But I have some Wacom one pen I might use since it’s comfortable and has buttons. And the galaxy tap 6 pen is on my wishlist.
Thanks for your reply. Nice channel and very informative. I've ordered a supernote a5x today. I hope this wasn't a mistake. I really count on their team to implement new features like "sideloading apks". Boox note air 2 plus lookes good and the only reason I did not buy it was, that they do not release their kernel source. And I will use the device for work.
I would Add that Its better to pick first of all construction that you like and then a nib! ... so pic option would be check its shape - how well it sits/is to be handled while writing and/or if you value button plus magnet ... then when you do that you can buy specific nibs for best writing feel experience and thats all ... this way you will be more succesfull in picking up what you really like without much of sacrafices. Nibs are (mostly - because there permanent options like ceramic nibs) something that sooner or later you gonna change anyway! And in addition if you think that you want one shape and nib size for painting and second for writing then even more you would go with that option. For me Lami is so damn nice in terms of size/pen handling feeling bit its cluncky and no magnet(but magnet would not be fuctional because of size it would be imposible to use it with etui functionally really but ... there are etuis with additional socet for wide pen like lami so yeah it would be nice for it ! Ive heard that it is good to use samsung s6 light pen with HP ZBOOK X2 Gray Nibs for writing feel. This pen is narrow but its not round and it have strong magnet so wotks nice with some notrmal cases/ETUIs. So you can really pick construciton and then nibs ./.. the only work we need to do is to understand if pen is compatible with nibs because AFAIK BOOX pens are not compatible with most nibs that those pens presented in video are using (but you need to confirm that)

Yeah, it's really nice! I like the rubber feel as well, so realistic you automatically swipe away the bits.

finally! The video I'd been looking for. I just wanted to know could you use different pens on different tablets!! 🙏🏾 Thank you!

That's exactly how I ended up with the digital jumbo for my lumi max 2. I haven't regretted it.

Yes, you can. I use the reMarkable nibs in a Lamy EMR and it's my go to stylus.
@@jessicasblack awesome!! Thanks for the reply! 😁
@@jessicasblack So can I just buy the nibs or I need to buy the reMarkable pen ?
@@psche7393 You can just buy the nibs and use them in the Lamy EMR pen.
The Lamy erase button does not work on the ReMarkable unless you install a hack for it.
jumbo is my favorite 2nd is the original marker plus on my Remarkable 2. Returned other pens that I purchased that didn't perform well.
Which of these will work on the Boox Nova 3? If anyone casually reading the comments could help, that would be great also?😊
Is it possible to swap the lamy nib with a remarkeble nib?
Ooo. Please try the iReader X Pen Gen 3 and give a review about it.
Does onyx boox note air 2 plus has a tilt function like remarkable 2(when i can make wide texture line)? I cant find this feature in many reviews for onyx , and saw it only on remarkable ans kindle scribe
Hello! Does anyone know whether Boox Pen Plus tips would fit on a Lamy?
Hola deseo saber que stylus recomiendas para boox tab mini c.
Love 5:14 😂 Great video!
Haha, thanks for giving me a laugh! "Ahhhha, Kit" 😂
Do the devices you mention in the description (Remarkable 2, the Supernote A5X and the Boox Note Air 2) all have the same screen surface? ie, would this survey you conducted yield the same results on each device?
Aren't there a bunch of Wacom nib types you can just slot into some of these styluses? That kind of changes the entire rankings/ratings?
So helpful :) thank you!

What about tilted use of the pen? As far as I know the remarkable registers it, but does that work on any of the onyx devices with any of the pens?
They all register it, but generally the apps don't use it. So it's something that Boox for example could bring by update.
Wich one would be the best for Big Me B1 Max + Color
It feels very weird to review the feel of the tip of the pen when that can easily be replaced... Bought the felt tip for my Boox Lumi pen and it is wonderful.
Awesome, are you using a screen protector on the max lumi?
@@KitBetts-Masters Yes, official one from Boox.
Hi Kit, is there a way to set the default eraser size for those stylus that has easer function?
Not sure, I think that will depend on the device, whether they give you access to set that option.
Hey, what about the iReader X Pen Gen 3?
Do this work for the nova air 3?
Aside from the Noris all the other pens should have the ability to put whatever nib you want to put in it. I would look more for the feel of the pen in the hand.

What pen or nib combination has low friction and writes like a smooth ballpoint pen?
The Supernote pens are best for this feel. Not mentioned here, because they would damage any screen apart from the supernote screens.
If reMarkable has a best feel, so the best pen nib, can I for example put reMarkable nib on a Boox pen?
Yes you can!

Probably not, it'll probably be touch only, which is capacitative tech. You'll have to look at the spec sheet. 😃

too bad you didn’t add the samsung S6 lite stylus. its brilliant on OB NA2+
Wich ones handel emr tilt?
All of them if the device allows it. They are all the wacom EMR technology, so are essentially the same.
