Police describe crash scene as "quite horrific".

Police attended a crash involving four vehicles in Wiri on Roscommon Rd, near Cavendish Drive.
The crash happened just after 10pm Saturday evening, and one vehicle was reported to be on fire.
Early indications it is believed that the car has traveled at speed, hit a van sending it rolling over the top of two cars which were believed to be stopped at traffic lights before coming to rest on it's wheels behind the two cars
A number of people have suffered minor injures in the crash however one person with serious injuries is being treated by ambulance staff. Five people were transported to hospital as a precaution.
It is believed speed and alcohol were a factor in the crash. Says Acting Sergeant Jeremy Popping from the Manurewa Road Policing Team.
