I can't believe how clueless people that says this Alpine R is bad value because it's not german brand or it's "just" 4 cylinders are... It is Full Aluminium chassis/structure, Carbon fiber hood, wheels, roof, spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear window. That shit is waaaay more expensive that a german logo or 2 more cylinder. The M5PT engine is a very reliable Nissan Engine produced in Korea. Plus this car will never lose value, only increase over time. Any 105k € BMW, Audi or Mercedes with M, RS and AMG badge will worth half that 5 years later. If I had that kind of money I would buy one.
And with all those expensive gimmicks it's still not lighter than a Miata while costing 3 times more.
Audi, Mercedes and BMW are usable cars that are quick enough. This is an expensive toy. If you had that kind of money, you'd have a different mentality and your needs would be different.

nothing is lighter than a Miata lmao. And actually at 1080kg the R is really really close and will utterly destroy any Miata on track. Unsure what point you're trying to make to be honest. @@araakin
@@araakin vous faites erreur et j'en suis la preuve vivante , après Des années en f430 .. j'ai acheté cette mouche et je n'avais jamais senti un plaisir similaire avec ma rs4 .. je me promène dans les routes de montagnes et jamais encore une autre voiture n'a réussi à me suivre pour 2 fois moins cher ou 2 fois plus cher !

Very impressed by the 100-200
To beat the 0-60mph in less than 4 secondes, you have to be in "sport" mode, and not in "track" mode, and also, you'll have to be in automatic mode , because you loose some precious millisecondes with shifting the gear manually.
I dont really like the look of this specific car but its such a cool car, like nothing else.
9:52, when they say that a car's stats (0-60mph, 0-100mph, etc.) are dependant on the condition they mean that the car will do the time they claim because the condititions to do so are absolutely perfect for the car. This means a properly set up road/dragstrip, altitude above sea level (Something like every thousand feet removes 5% of the power of the car), wind direction, etc. Nerdy mumbo jumbo to make the buyer go "wow so this car is much faster!!!"

It's reliable, sounds good and the gearbox is excellent too.

That has to be the best sounding 4 cylinder ever, especially for a turbo. No surprise the 0-100km/h time can't be replicated on normal pavement. Those runs are always recorded at drag strips with a prepped surface with lots of sticky rubber for grip.
Well, I guess it depends on the manufacturer. Some brands understate their 0-100 times
They dont test at drag strips with sticky rubber, but they surely choose good asphalt and fresh tires, with the best conditions possible. Some understate them though (I think some german brands mainly)

i think he didn´t hit the 285 because of the temp. the 1.8l wont have that much power hitting high rpms on thin and hot air
You can even see in the hp display that it doesn't deliver full power, probably for thermal reasons.
Someday this also will be a modern classic car.
Autobahn is probably not the best to test this car on maybe more like the Nurburgring where this car would be an absolute ripper, it could possibly be the best Nurburgring car you can get!
The best Nurburgring car’s are still Porsche’s but yeah this A110R will be very nice to drive on the track

the blue paint is what they use on all there promo but its an expensive add on, white is the default paint

What you need, is Vin Diesel behind the wheel, a nitrous bottle and the runway from F&F to get this to it's claimed top speed while popping a wheelie. But what a cool car, cars like these should be sold globally, proper driver's machine. I can't even imagine how fun this would be in a mountain pass.

ALPINE with the well-known French Alpine tuner MP REZEAU is preparing in the form of an apotheosis before the transition to 100% electric or hybrid motor sports cars, a Super A110 with combustion engine which is currently testing on the Nurburgring. For the same mass we no longer speak of 300hp but of more than 400hp!!!

The doors inside looks so cheap, it that painted metal or plastic the blue on the inside of the doors? Besides that the car looks very nice. But with all French cars build quality is probably not high.

You can shut it by desactivating speakers. My dad have done this to his A110GT the speakers works only when using carplay, the rest of the time no speakers so no horrible bip bip.
