I'm Brazilian and I remember when I was young and saw my older cousins playing GTA IV and at that time I was still learning english. And I asked them "what is this 'motherf*cker' they're talking all the time?" Lol
I think this is the only mortal kombat with *actual fatality* that the japanese can see. And Mk is even banned there! (altho they can easily get the western copy and do some regional code magic i guess)
Hey Sora, one time during Rin's stream, me and couple of your fans started meming quotes from your videos and I wrote City People of MY EARTH and Rin actually read it exactly how Japanese would do :D I hope you're proud of me now :D (February 6th stream, part one, time-stamp in comment if interested. Tell Rin I'm sorry.)
You say you don't understand why Sora-san, but as a fellow american you should kindly explain that most american streamers would say exactly what she did in english😂❤
That was my impression I said some basic stuff in Japanese in Spain when I visited there 2 months ago and that is somehow a big deal. I guess to be fair getting decent in Japanese is a 2 year project and I crossed the one year mark so I have a idea how much it takes to be conversational.
@@southcoastinventors6583 to be honest i don't think any language needs more than a year to get basic level of speaking atleast, espically if you watched like thousends of episodes of anime , sure it's a Diffrent speak than normal every day japan but it still help out alot i think as to this day i can still understand 30% but not perfect 30% understanding obviously hopefully ill get enough motivation in the future to learn it.
@@ambulancekun3142 Now that I am in Japan I know how false that statement is having witnessed it myself from people I have met at Airbnb not to mention people actually living in Japan in the North for years. I think the reason most English speakers respond well to profanity in JP vtubers is simply because its funny. Even if a vtuber is technically insulting her viewers, the viewers understand that she most likely either doesn't really understand what it means or says it in a way that's hilarious and will keep people engaged.
Your skits are getting better and better, Sora. And congrats on passing 1 million subscribers! I still remember subscribing when your channel was small (like pp) 😊
this is the funniest f*cking thing I've heard in awhile lmao the dichotomy of the high pitched voice vehemently trying to sound cute whilst using very aggressive and coarse language in English is just so ridiculous; pure comedy gold!
I didn't really understand some things in Japan, such as how they would really act towards foreigners and such, so some of your videos have really helped with that! Thanks!
this is genius! if you look at it from different perspectives, it could be both a comedic parody and satire at the same time. Sora the American never miss.
OMFG, I’m dying here. This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. The cute anime girl swearing up a storm in English had me laughing my ass off. Thanks for the belly laughs. 😂
Learning to swear in a foreign language is always a highlight of learning! My Spanish teacher refused to teach us any😢 and I had to graduate before I learned any
A lot of people think it's easy to teach English in Japan and yet most people don't even realize they don't even understand their own language fundamentals. They also don't realize that you have to learn Japanese in order to be able to translate what you're saying in English to Japanese so that they can make the connection and learn what words they are pronouncing and what they mean. So you have to master English grammar and syntax, then you have to master teaching, then you have to master Japanese, and then you have to actually learn how to deal with people who don't understand what you mean. Usually it's not for a lot of money too.
I just watched a video of American dude, who speaks fluent Japanese, talking to local people. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SAID: "Wow, your Japanese is great!!!". Seems like Sora didn't lie to us.
My sides left orbit when she said she learned English from GTA. That’s even worse than learning Japanese from anime or Spanish from daytime dramas 😭😭😭😭
It is more difficult for Japanese to learn English due to the extra sounds not present in Japanese and the fact that our language is not very phonetic unlike Japanese. Still at least we do not have 3 alphabets.
We have less of an alphabet because our letters make different sounds based on context and can't even consistently follow rules. Less letters isn't better when there's so many "sight words" no one has a clue how to pronounce until you're told how to.
Poor Ken. He was so traumatized. Hope he’s doing ok out there
*"Ken Isu a Bado ENGURISHU supeeka"*
Fakku Ken!
I have a bad news for you. Ken is not doing well out there.
I mean he could do *way* much better overseas... He could teach online.
Sakku mai dik!
Rin is such an influencer! She has learned new colorful words like from GTA V & anywhere else!
ikr 💀

Words of wisdom from Rin 🙏

🤣
I would say it has a lack of abilities to do that, but I have no idea if it's male or female.
Nice Mortal Kombat reference there
I think this is the only mortal kombat with *actual fatality* that the japanese can see. And Mk is even banned there! (altho they can easily get the western copy and do some regional code magic i guess)
You know it's apex of Engrish speaking when Sora even managed to make Rin speak Engrish.
apex pred of engrishu to be exact
Rin chan's reply to it be like : Wooh u bery greato saido.
I fakk uwr engrishu
Blessed
It's ingrishu
So brave of Sora to tell us his real name is Ken and that when he had a job to speak to a girl, he promptly ran away.
I thought he was "Hashimoto"? Oh wait, that's totally not him.
wait.... "Hashimoto Kanna?" -_-;
I see. This is Sora's experience of being Rin's mod.
My man just described the relationship of most Japanese Vtubers to foreign audiences 💀
I can confirm I enjoy hearing Japanese VTubers swear in English :)
Itz bery cuto.
Yeah.
yezu its kendu funnu
Man i've seen a Japanese wrestler woman utter something just as bad.
Now that's real entertainment.
5:26 THAT FINISHER AND THAT REACTION LMAO!!! And Manager-san... This is too good Sora 😂😂😂
When she said she learned some English from GTA I knew what was coming
Tanaka-san would be very surprised after Rin's channel getting demonitized for "no reason" lol

Its always a good day when sora posts 😂🎉
Sora's acting skills are extremely under the radar. Honto ni tanoshii ❤❤

Sora, what did you do with Rin-san??? You created a monster, who learned english from GTA( this is new to me, but okay lol) OMG!!!😂😂
I blame unrespectful resentful trolls for ruining Asian Live Streaming Content.
Learning English from GTA, is like learning Japanese from anime.
anime has less swear words so you are likely to insult people.
It's more like learning Japanese from hentai anime...
You got a point right there😂
If you can speak as well as a GTA character, that's pretty good in my books
oh you are american? do you play GTA?
"She's shy and pure."

This was legit hilarious. That "Fukin heru" part especially made me laugh so hard as its probably the most commonly used phrase here in England XD
