Very underrated song, excellent performance. I'm not a huge fan of the stuff after 2000, but people who think the Freedom-Arc/Weld run were Neil's last great records are missing the great stuff on Sleeps With Angels, Mirror Ball, and Broken Arrow, all really terrific records--unique, and not even necessarily grungy, but updated for sure. The chorus on this is beautiful and unusually direct for Neil, kind of a weird cousin to "Prisoners of Rock 'n" Roll".
Some people say when Elliot Roberts died Neil lost the most important person to give him honest feedback... I don't know, I'm just relating that I've heard that.
Criminally underrated songs on these albums you name here, even the Dead Man title track was never played live by Neil as far as i know. Peak Neil as far as I am concerned!
@@chesneytube1 Don't you mean DAVID BRIGGS (Neil's longtime producer) ? Although he did not survive to finish BROKEN ARROW (1996), it was the final album of Neil's that he was involved in. I think he passed before they began recording. An oddly enough, it's the last studio album I REALLY LOVED. Psychedelic Pill (2012) is good, but not GREAT, unfortunately.
My favorite song by Neil!
Underrated song
Big Time, my favorite Neil tune. Never really heard until a few years ago. A very heavy song, like from the time fades away era.
Crazy Horse makes this (and any) Neil song beyond special !!!
Broken Arrow is a fantastic Crazy Horse record. Very pure and raw. It's the essence of their sound.
I believe this song was written for the memory of David Briggs. (Long time producer for Neil)

It’s on theBroken Arrow album. This song always jumps out there. We were there that night. Lot of pain about this song well written and preformed ❤
Prairie Wind LP from 2006. Check it out ASAP
