- Mild rum effect, lime pineapple linger, aromatic light sugar finish. Well balanced, not strong, beautiful. Comes in at 21% ABV. NOMAD, tweaked
X1 Tip: DO NOT SUB SECO or STIGGIN’S RUMS!
1 Flor de Caña 4 YO Extra SECO (Nicaragua 80 proof)
1 Plantation Stiggin’s Pineapple rum (Barbados 80 proof)
1 pineapple juice (Dole can NFC)
¾ Persian lime juice (fresh)
Shake 10 (to infuse water), strain martini, ice shard
¾tsp caster sugar, sprinkle over (orig ¾ oz simple syrup, too sweet)
1dsh Angostura ATOP
NOTE: If you want this cocktail sweeter, just stir sugar up in bottom with straw...
Looks like a very tasty daiquiri
Lots of recipes out there for this one, but emphasis here is on the sugary pineapple aroma and finish.
@@BellyUpBar you ever make any of your own syrups? Today I am making 16 pounds of inverted sugar for the base ingredient of a batch of rum. I'm thinking about caramelizing some for use in mixed drinks
Yes, I make fassionola, simple, rich, orgeat, vanilla, grenadine, demerara, turbinado, evaporated cane (rich), clover honey, acacia honey and a couple of others such as the Royal Hawaiian Oahu hotel mai tai syrup.
@@BellyUpBar nice 👍
