- At long last our DR Field and Brush Mower has arrived after a long delay due to shipping issues. I was able to set aside a day to get some serious work done, but there is still much more to do!
Our main hurdle remains before us - whether or not it will be possible to get a gravel driveway through the swampy portion of this property. More updates to come!

I bought the 20 HP model with the heavy-duty blade option. It's a beast and works as advertised
(even better). The hand brakes make it easy to turn and maneuver. I had it for three years and never had a moments problem with it. My only issue was everyone wanted to borrow it. DR Manufactures truly great equipment.

I bought one of the 20 HP models and it's a beast. It will do exactly (actually more than) what the manufacture states. Get the heavy-duty blade option. I ran the heck out of it for three years and never had a moment of trouble with it. Nice to have an American made product that performs as advertised.

I wish i could share a photo of what I am contending with, My DR is the cheapest version, yes i made that mistake I can not use attachments, but this mower is eating 10 to 15 foot tall 2 1/2 inch saplings and thorny blackberry bushes all intertwined together but its devouring everything in its way. I put the guide bar on either side of the mower right up against the tree and it takes everything down, you might have a problem with some trees in florida because a lot of trees there have top roots that stay on top of the dirt

In case you missed it in the video the doctor field and brush mower can handle saplings up to two inches in girth much like our boy poongoontv.

Hey guys! were over here on the east coast of Florida in Clay county. I found your channel cuz I am about to purchase a dr mower and wanted to see them in action. Your property has a lot of the same things mine has. Question... do the vines wrap around the blade and bogg it down? I haven't found too many florida homesteads. I'm glad I found you. Maybe one day we can get together and do a collab!
