Yes, I know I'm almost a year late, but I'm commenting anyway. The Marching 110 used to have an entire flag line that students could try out for, had positions and traditions, ect. Each flag represented every school in the MAC, as a way to honor each school in the conference. The flag section was a formal part of the 110 up until 2013, when there was a sudden lack of members that want to be a part of it, as well as Dr. Suk not having much of a need to have them the band anyway. Today, flags are only used during pregame, and are positions for members that did not make the cut for the "pregame block". All drills and movements are changed because of this, as members that did not make the cut still play instruments for the halftime show. Hope this explains it!
Can thay do on the moon
When I carried a flag, it was heavy satin!!!
Any reason why the flags dont flick the silks any longer? That was the best part of pregame
Hi Anthony. I really have no idea. I have only been filming the band since my son joined 5 years ago. I didn't know they did anything different.
