& Sorry,, I don't follow much of anything.. Just stumbled across this.
Jake I love your enthusiasm when you interview! You are well prepared and the actors appreciate it! Keep it going! Greetings from The Netherlands, Europe.
The shaved head is working for him.
i'm happy he's finally embracing the bald rather than that silly painted on hair look he had before
Apparently because of Joe Rogan 🤨
Love JT's new look!
What choice would he have.. those hair Implants made him look ridiculous..
@@deb310red he was bald before ... and then you put hair plugs. Now he's bald again. So he's been bald before
I've known 5-6 people who met John over the years. Each person without exception said he was kind, warm and professional. What an enjoyable interview. Thanks Jake!
Although you don't know me personally, I met John Travolta the Summer of '88 at the Arizona Biltmore. He was extremely congenial, and didn't mind being asked for his autograph. Guess that's why I own everyone of his movies on DVD.
@@rubyred93chev Even Gotti? Im so sorry
@@BosSupes Even Gotti. Which I thought was real good. (Can you tell I've been a fan of his since 'Carrie', and 'Blow Out').
@@rubyred93chev That's cool. I wouldn't expect as anything less from a Jerseyman. He will always be my Italian crush always
Wow you are so awesome. Thanks for the comments, like, support and love over the years . I would love to keep in touch with you, write me; Johntravolta4real@gmail.com
Hope you’re keeping safe?
Good lord, I love this man so much. He is so humble and sweet. And a terrific actor and dancer!!
No exaggeration, this is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen
I love how passionate the interviewer was, and how calmly Travolta answered. Great interview!
Jake is born to do this. He's great.
@Funk O'Matic I agree. Borderline bugging me
I hate that American over-energetic pseudo-enthusiastic way of speaking.
The interviewer was kind of a dork. He comes across as an overacting fan boy.
Nah, he was terrible, like an excitable puppy humping your leg.
Blow Out to this day is one of his best films and one of his best performances! That film is terrific!
100% agree
John has ALWAYS his entire career from what I've seen has exuded and displayed nothing but warmth kindness and pure class. Someone to certainly look up to. Huge fan of his work and course as human being. Amazing despite having been through some horrific challenges in life he's kept it together with grace & humbleness. Mad respect
Not sure how anyone could hate this guy, I've seen many interviews of him and he always sounds low profile, polite and humble. Never act as if he's asuperstar.
Face/Off is still one of my favorite action movies EVER.
PS: I still LOVE Pulp Fiction, Get Shorty and Broken Arrow.
God I love that film. You _have_ to listen to the How Did This Get Made? episode for Face/Off (if you haven't already).
One of those movies you can watch hundreds of times over, crappy reboot is on its way though
@@MattysGrove My thoughts exactly.
Ready for the big ride, baby!
Low IQ warning
I think John is one of the most humble people in the industry!!! (Look who's taking) my favorite movies!!!
Great interview. He seems like such a nice man.
Agreed
This guy was crisp and precise with his questions. No BS. I am sure John as well as us the audience appreciated that.
I agree, he's one of my favorites. He doesn't ask the same stupid questions and you can tell that the actors/actresses are genuinely surprised they got a good, intelligent question. He also does his homework and researches the actor as well.
Ive worked with JT on a film years ago. I was invited for the first premiere for The Fanatic. John and I were able to catch up for a bit. As the others have said, he is a warm, humble and amazing person.
John Travolta is just pure awesome. So many good movies he's done. He's a cultural icon.
Especially that Gotti movie or whatever it's called 😂 The acting was great
Have you seen The Fanatic?
Such a great actor, grew up watching Welcome Back Kotter.
I LOVED WELCOME BACK KOTTER, AND YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, SEXY IF I CAN SAY BALD. IT IS YOU
He's a well-grounded man. Loves his family and balanced that with his work. He's been through so many losses in his life, his girlfriend, wife, close friends and parents, yet continues to be a humble man. God bless him.
travolta looks like a genuinely nice guy. And I like the interviewer too, he makes intelligent questions, he is respectful toward the interviewee and has obviously done his homework
He’s always been a class act. So good to the press, so generous to his fans and he’s never taken his fame for granted. He can play the good guy, the bad guy, the comic, the drama. For as many hits that he had had, there are also a ton of under appreciated gems. Watch Basic and a Civil Action. Unbelievable. Can’t say enough.
Mr. Travolta seems to be so down to earth, just a regular guy who just happens to do movies and dance. Best wishes to him in all his adventures and will always be a fan.
Met him today. Really nice guy... got picture ,and autograph.
Met him today, not meet him today.

👌 Loved his [John's] philosophy on the responsibility of going out in public; to fans, events, etc.- or not- & how to choose... But not easy I'm sure.
Hardly ever hear of his role in The Generals Daughter. That movie was epic and his final line was outstanding!
“I told you I’dcatch the son of a bit;!...i didn’t know the son of a b... would be you”
Now I gotta go watch it!!

Travolta will always be the effing man!!
John is everything ❤️
He was a big part of my childhood, Grease, Michael, Pulp Fiction, Face Off, Get Shorty, were all my favourites.
Looks way better bald than with that goofy toupee
@Miguel Peraza rofl!
@Miguel Peraza lol
He has NEVER worn a Toupee dumb ass !!
Mens toupees never look real lol. Only girls ones look real.
Why dont you have more subscribers?!?!? You are a fantastic interviewer with deep and well thought out question! Really awesome! A fan from sweden!
This guy was great and you tell that John was into answering all his questions. Just for the record i loved FACE- OFF
can we all take a moment to appreciate how bad ass Mr Travolta looks, please?
I really like John Travolta. I recently saw Pulp Fiction again. The movie theatre was packed -- sold out. Unbelievable! I was happy to get a ticket!
Also liked him in Grease with Olivia Newton John.
Thanks for the experience
Shae Stevens
Shae Stevens I LOVE Pulp Fiction. Saw it in theaters 4 times.
He's had a bit of a rough period lately, but he's left an incredible mark on American cinema with Blow Out, Pulp Fiction and Carrie. Absolute classics and he's impeccable in them.
Saturday Night Fever!
Haven't seen it yet! Will watch it in a few days, can't wait!
He had a small role in "Carrie". "Saturday Night Fever" & "Urban Cowboy" are his best roles in my opinion. Btw "Blowout" is a hidden gem, Brian De Palmas best 🎥 film he ever directed.
Boy in the plastic bubble was one of his firsts.
Blow Out is an amazing film. For Any Travolta fan or movie fan, it’s a must watch.
In my opinion, after a successful and deserved initial career, this actor has then been underestimated a bit too much often over years, especially his natural charisma. He always had sort of a soothing brit "aplomb" while talking.
Thanks for your love and support it's a great pleasure to know I have a lovely fans may God's blessings continue to shower on you kindly text me directly on 415 2347500
Phenomenon!
We love you John
JT....a very humble human being.
JT often overlooked as a very gifted actor, taken for granted somewhat but if you delve into his body of work you will see one of the greats of American cinema who always goes in different directions in roles you cannot pin him down to any one particular character type and that is what makes this exceptional actor really special.
Thoughtful questions and thoughtful answers.
The best Travolta movie for me was the Saturday Night Fever. My other remarkable memory about Him when he asked Princess Diana for a dance. He gave her one of the best moments ever in her short life. Mr Travolta i think you are the nicest actor who i ever saw.
i like how Travolta talks about not confusing an actor's character to their real life personality
Great interview!
I met John Travolta a couple of weeks ago he was such a nice guy
Why does it always have to amount to sex? Who gives a fuck what he does in his private life (no pun intended).
cos the people on this page are all virgins
As a good Italian, he knows how to dress.
my favorite's gotta be Phenomenon
he and Duvall are just superb in that one
Mr. J.T. is a class act !
Dude has aged gracefully
Travolta comes across as very articulate and genuine. Looks great with the beard and bald head as well!
Love this and John looks fantastic bald !!
Crack Job right? Thank heavens he finally gave up the toupee!
No way hes an egg head
Should bring his faceoff skills & do Max Payne 👌
er..
getting used to him being bald is gonna take time
Never even noticed
This dude should've shaved his head years ago Lol
Dante Redgrave ...he looks great
This dude??
John is so sweet! I grew-up watching his movies! He's an actor, who can sing and dance!
John seems lovely
Good questions from the interviewer. So many interviewers ask the same cliche and uninspiring questions. This guy did due diligence and made the most of having a few minutes with one of Hollywood's legends.
My favorite is Urban Cowboy! Loved many of his films. He is such a great actor. Im glad he has sustained longevity.
Thanks for your love and support it's a great pleasure to know I have a lovely fans may God's blessings continue to shower on you kindly text me directly on 415 2347500
men, we keep on forgetting, this man is a pilot. he owns like 44 private jets. LOL
He seems well grounded. He looks good for 60+.
John Travolta looked like a very "down to earth",mature and analytical person.
The man doing the interview is top notch!! Great questions and no rudeness .
*Urban Cowboy* was his best performance in my opinion. But honestly Travolta has made some masterpiece films & even the ones that weren't were enjoyably fun.
Quentin Dugger Urban Cowboy and Pulp Fiction.
SNF was a masterpiece.
Legend. To be in Grease and Pulp Fiction is some CV! Nice interview Jake.
We love you John Travolta❤😊
just go see Blow Out (1981)
you’ll love him even more
One of my childhood idols
I have always liked his movies but never heard interviews of him until a few today. on RUclips What a humble artuculate guy.
Man is a livin legend.. respek JT! 🔥
Great Interview.
My Favorite John Travolta Movie is The Legendary Movie Face/Off (1997).
Another banger of an interview man. I love that you make it personal to each of their careers for half and then move on to the current topic at hand. You don’t ask anything too personal but still keep it relevant to each actor.
Bravo!
Also, side question. I’d love to ask a celeb if shaking their hand or taking a picture with them is more annoying. For myself, I don’t ask for pictures (I work as a photographer) and I feel that a photograph is kind of a way to show off/remember the moment. For me, I want to make it personal and just say “thank you for your body of work” and shake their hand. Just curious to hear if you’ve had any answers to that question.
John's a triple threat, plus he can fly any airplane ,so he's just amazing
John is such a classy guy and i think he still has a lot in him to give us in years to come
Some man, love everything he’s done
John Travolta is just such a great guy. Just so well rounded and such a gentle soul!
dude looking like a better looking joe rogan lmaooo!
Wulfenheim Blaidd lmao
Wulfenheim Blaidd ..rogan looks looks like crap..but i love his podcast.lol
@@robdcollector2808 100% my favorite podcast hands down.
Dude?
Travolta should go on Joes podcast
I really enjoyed this interview. The interviewer was spot on. His knowledge of Travolta's career and enthusiasm was a pleasure to see. And Travolta seemed to really enjoy it too. This was great.
LOVE LOVE LOVE JT’s down to earth presence. His openness about his decision making/life. He seems very genuine.
I always loved a movie John did called SHOUT, he was a music teacher at a boys home who was actually a man on the run, he teaches these young guys about rock n roll which at the time period was so new it was sort of underground only. Not many people know of this movie nor is it easy to find but it was great.
"In the movie Blow Out, directed by Brian De Palma, John Travolta gives one of the best performances of his career, perhaps one of the best performances of all time..." Quentin Tarantino.
not many people seem to remember that film. but it really was excellent. i'd recommend it to anyone.
Mr. Urban Cowboy. Love this guy.
JT....a very humble human being.
JT seems like a super good dude. Always nice to see celebrities turn out to be down to earth people.
My favorite of all time is Phenomenon
INSANE DISAPPEARANCES!!!! Coming here to say this.
John is always so nice to the people who interview him. Compare his behavior to someone like Bruce Wilis who is always mean spirited to people who interview him. John is a class act!!
stephen geraci That’s why Vince talked shit to Butch in Pulp Fiction.
John always came off as a really nice guy.

This skipped over his best movie, Looks who’s talking 😆
I think what made that film such a classic was the in-depth Freudian perspective of the ever-present inner child that fuels the wants and needs of the adult image we see of ourselves; yet far down inside of our human psyche, all we really want is a simple bottle and a pacifier to quell the screams of our inner demons. “Look Who’s Talking” is a modern day classic that embodies the adult-in-the-child and the child-in-the-adult ideology. It’s a true masterpiece. Makes “Pulp Fiction” look like dog doody scraped off the bottom of my flip-flops. 😂😉
funny how no one ever mentions those films even though he did three in the seriess
I know right.
So glad to hear Travolta mention BLOW OUT. The movie is my favorite of his. DaPalma's best too. John rocks with the shaved look.
Tarantinos fav movie
@Captain Brandon Horror Film Lover yes dressed to kill was tremendous. Loved it. I will choose Blowout because the story is so good and Travolta is great in it. The final scene is genius. A masterpiece...DTK, great but not quite as beautiful and the shower scene that was supposed to be Angie but was a double. Personally disappointed. Lol! Edge to Blowout.
@@billlozier5551 The shower scene in DRESSED TO KILL is supposed to be a fantasy! That's why Brian De Palma used a body double!
@@Jeckxdeel Angie Dickinson admitted she was not about to do those nude scenes. Her body wasn't what it once was. Therefore Dapalma used a model for the shower close ups. I'm not complaining. 😁
@@billlozier5551 Exactly! But it's also a fantasy about a younger body!
Needs to dance in a movie again!
LOVE the new look! Way to embrace the BALD! Looks so much better. :)
He seems to be a real nice person.
Nice interview ... respectful and intriguing.
This interview is an excellent example again of how decent Travolta is, sure he 'is' an actor, but seriously he has to me always been easy going in interviews and when in the public eye. Here we can clearly see he has just finally accepted his baldness, that he allowed the camera shots to be made from the back which clearly shows his bald hair line arguably shows a man, a brilliant actor who is comfortable with his lot in life. Sure he still wears absurd wigs, but I really personally do not GAF. He has been very well paid by Qantas airline, the Australian national carrier to be the primary ambassador,. In this role he has given 110per cent, he is extremely highly respected/regarded from within the industry so., and his love of Qantas in general, and aviation in particular and wealth as allowed him to fly a very old Qantas original aeroplane, sure completely renovated for comfort but also an iconic model. I try and get to see all his films, no matter what genre. Which brings me in closing to the gift he has in airline promotion, he has been an ambassador for this airline for well over a decade, no request is too much, no issue too problematic. He is always welcomed with open arms. A true gentleman a movie icon.
My great grandpa is Mickey Gilley and he worked on urban cowboy
Face off was awesome 😎
Fantastic! You can tell he is a true Travolta fan!!! Great interview wish it were longer.

Mr Travolta. What an cool man.
he seems a genuinely nice human being, very courteous ,and yes the bald is far better than the hair pieces/implants
What a very nice man.
Travolta has to remember, whenever he's tempted to throw on a rug to "just say NO!"
I've loved John since I was 12 and I'm 57 now, he's incredible!
Im 56 and same!
The new look is pretty kool! Love all his movies but his playing Robert Shapiro was fantastic!!!
Another brilliant interview, Jake. Always fun, engaging, and personal while still asking unique and well-thought-out questions. Bravo, sir.
Wow, this was one of the better interviews I've seen. Great job! I had the pleasure of meeting John at Fan Expo Canada this past weekend, and even though it was brief, it was so worth it. I've loved him since I was 5, and I talked to so many other people there who felt the same way. He must hear that kind of stuff constantly and he handles it so well, and always treats his fans with warmth and respect. I've never heard anyone who's met him have a bad thing to say.
