Theres something that makes you just a little bit different from the real AJ, but I can't exactly say what it is yet, though. But I think you pretty much got it :)

Jee wiz, when I pressed play on this thing, the sheer quality of the voice acting stunned me, I had to scroll up and look at the picture while my mind comprehended the situation.

Honestly it's good enough. You don't exadderate your voice emotion enough. Instead of "Now hold on there, sugar cube." You should say "Now HOLD on-there-sugure cuuube." Don't be afraid to show some emotion.
Try to lighten the strain on the back of your throat. You don't notice it, but its there. It's how I do a bunch of accents that require an added octave.
Wait....if you're this good at Applejack... And the real voice actress does both Applejack and Rainbow dash.... Does that mean you can also do a spot-on Rainbow Dash? :D
