    Very nice. Happy to see the tradition be kept. Amazon to see the original fireman from Queen Elizabeth II coronation train back in 1953 was able to come out to reenact placing the board on Number 4. Hope #4's overhaul goes well.

    In 1971 I was in Tywyn on holiday with my parents and we found out that Prince William of Gloucester was visiting and would be actually driving a train on the Talyllyn, so we made sure we travelled on it and had a Royal driver! He was a patron of the TRPS but sadly died in an air crash the following year. In those days there was far less competition from other heritage railways, the Cambrian Coast was a popular summer destination and the TR ran a half-hourly interval service in the mornings.

    Hi. I wonder if Gareth remembers sitting on No.4 Edward Thomas' buffer with a bucket hand sanding for the sleeper replacement trains with the Territorial Army. I have a photo somewhere.

    As much as I love steam I would love to see you guys through a diesel engine gala and then yall can even restore the lawnmower and the tractor to working order and reveal then as the originals coming back to life and see as everyone flocks over from all around to see two historic to the railways history engines being used as a private tour or railway shunting engine and a railway inspection engine given a new lease on life the publicity and the money you would get would be enough the build another engine maybe enough the build it from scratch

    Did you make a dolgoch kit ? Because I found one on your website . Oh and I bought the Edward Thomas model what you guys make . BUT is it possible for you guys to make Douglas or Tom rolt ? Because I would like to see them they could come with static chassis and 2 lamps and come in the three parts engine , cab , chassis and then that’s it . Then we could have little models of Edward Thomas , dolgoch , Tom rolt , Douglas . And latter on can we get tallyn ,midlander( in its old and rebuilt versions ) & sir Hayden to finish . Then we got engines 1-7 to have in 009 and I would love that these are only ideas but it would be awesome . Release them about 2 months apart or something . And yes make them all able to run on 009 tracks with some Bachman Thomas and friend chassis . . Here is the list
    Talylln -skarloey chassis
    Dolgoch- rheneas chassis
    Sir Hayden-skarloey chassis
    EdwardThomas -Petersam chassis
    Midlander - rusty chassis
    Douglas-n scale Percy chassis
    Tom rolt - skarloey chassis
    All the talylln railway engines are from you guys with them all coming with a static chassis and removable cab top to paint it . And I listed the chassis what you should make the engines run on if people wanna convert them into 009 runners . I will be buying them if you do take my ideas and I do think everybody else will to . And after finishing the first 7 engines maybe make some others on your railway too . And rolling stock also like coaches and slate wagons I really want some slate wagons and give everything a static chassis also . So I think you should try these or at least most of them oh and put these on your website for us customers to buy I would say make the wagons and coaches £19 but make the steam engines £35 and make midlander £20 that’s my opinion on prices tho that’s all from me take all this into consideration .
    I will be coming to your railway soon on the awderys extravaganza 3 hopefully so see you all then

      The kits aren't made by them, they're made by a company called Fourdees Limited.
      They do not take requests and will only make a kit if there is an appropriate rtr chassis available to use. Please don't go around bothering them for things like these.

    • @MaxwellTheTrainFan
      @MaxwellTheTrainFan Год назад

      @@kupferbergbahn7952 well it’s all just suggestions . And they don’t have to if they don’t want to but you gotta admit it would be awesome to have engines 1-7 in 009 and kits to line up on a shelf
