- Rosie Duffield was right to say only women have a cervix, Sir Keir Starmer has said, despite criticising the Labour MP three years ago.
Starmer said his views on gender issues “start with biology” as he backed blocking trans women from female-only hospital wards and prisons.
The Labour leader was speaking as the Government proposed changes to England’s NHS constitution to give patients the right to request to be treated on single-sex wards, with transgender people placed in rooms on their own.
Kellie-Jay Keen says: “This is a man who wants to run the country and we're supposed to believe a single word he says?"

I put a gender critical sticker on an NHS warning notice that began “If you are a person with a cervix…”. I put 5 other stickers up too wherever the word woman was erased. For that I ended up with an ASBO when the hospital Head of Security called the police for an alleged “hate crime”. To be honest, I felt so ill and exhausted with cancer and radiotherapy, I was more bothered about spoiling Christmas for my husband waiting to be in court and face a heavy fine; the decision to eventually give me (and my husband for “helping” me) an ASBO was a smack on the wrist to what I was expecting and all I gone through.

I,am 66 years old, i have voted Labour most of my life, but it is not the working class Labour party me my dad and granddad voted for, it is turning into a far left utopia, It is the party of the woke immigrants and illegal migrants, and Starmer is no Labour man, he is a Labour man in a Tory suit, there is no difference between the two anymore. They are saying to do exactly as Reform has recommended to resolve the issues in the NHS, and that is to use far more private health companies to rescue the state run NHS, that's Labour's policy when they get in ! The only thing you won't find Starmer flip-flopping over is his overwhelming desire to get his foot in No. 10, no matter what he has to say or (falsely) promise.

There are dozens of conflicts in the world including a war on the European border .Britain has been screwed by the Tories over the last fourteen years .The N.H.S. is in a dreadful state , social care is in crisis , there is a cost of living crisis etc etc and you are bashing Starmer about this totally irrelevant issue that is only of issue to a tiny percentage of the population .

@@alisonwren3624 that would be true if it was something that was top priority for every one of those 51% but most of them are worrying more about their waiting list appointment , or the state of the school their children go to , or how to put food on the table , or how to arrange social care for a loved one .For those affected it is a serious issue but how many of your 51% are affected .
