I love how the size of the pans are bigger than your tiny pallets pans, and pairing up with that is a nice size paper with a spray bottle and a tiny paintbrush, kind of a mini pochade box❤

I keep on seeing these cute tiny wooden palettes on your channel so i bought one for myself too. 😅 are these gonna be okay for long time though? How do i maintain them in a good condition? Would keeping them open after painting be enough? Sorry for the questions.
I always open them when I’m home after painting to let them dry. I also clean them periodically. My Show&Tell playlist shows how. I have never felt I needed to oil them, though I might do so with my most used one soon. 😊
How do you clean out the paints from the wooden cases? Is there any liquid you use or just soap and water? The wood always looks protected with varnish, but I want to be careful.
I haven’t had any issues yet with wood palettes, but I always let them dry after use and keep them clean. If I close them wet after a painting, I make sure to open it when I’m home so it can dry. Occasionally, I do a more thorough clean (my Show&Tell playlist shows how). The wood is varnished, yes, and I can always add wood oil if I need to (which I haven’t yet!).

i have a question for you and that is have you ever tried using water colour pencils and if so what was your expirience like because i am a young teenager and i bought some watercolour pencils but only cheaper ones because i didnt want to waste my money on something i might rarely use
I have used them, yes. They can be fun. I have a video in my Watercolour playlist called “Paintng a Wintry Cottage” where I use them. I prefer regular watercolours, but the pencils can be fun. 😊
