my lenovo p51 with quadro m2200 is also hot while playing games. the gpu does not exceed 70, but the cpu goes up to 98 at times, but it oscillates a lot, dropping to 60-70 degrees in a second.
Yeah I have noticed the same. I will say that performance doesn't seem to take a hit. No stutters or obvious signs that something is getting too cooked.
@@HaisteComputerRepair I noticed that if I reduce the processor to 90% in power options, the temperature drops significantly, and there are no problems with games
@@doktorslobo i remember this being an old performance tip because it theoretically limits the boost aspect of the cpu. you should try 99% as it should have the same effect
