Flea market shoppers expect flea market prices! I wouldnt even price that high in my store😅
People's ideas of what constitutes a "flea market" are different. I think of a flea market as outside. In the elements. Hot windy, dark, rainy. Cheap set up price. Nasty porto-john. No emenities. This flea market they were at was inside. Great lighting. Air condition. Clean restrooms. Probably food. That dude isn't paying $20 a day to set up in a place like that. So his prices are going to be closer to full on ebay. I've sold harder-to-find TMNT weapons and parts for north of $20 tons of times. His prices weren't that crazy.

So.. I've actually had a real tough time lately with venders at shows and sellers at car boot sales where they think they have toys worth hundreds of pounds when they don't. This one guy had the toy biz Thor buster Ironman with his mask missing and scuffed up to hell, I asked him how much and he said oh Ironman is really popular so 17 pounds I looked at it and the battered marvel figures in the same tub and next to it was a tub of Batman figures so I picked up this DCUC batman and it was in good condition and I said what about this one. I shit you not he pulled a face and said oh uhh two quid!
It's insane thinking this Guy is dealing in toys without doing any proper research
Same guy had a set of playmates turtles and when I asked he tried showing me prices for SH Figuarts... Then he couldn't understand why I dropped them back on the table and walked away.

I know everyone is focused on the seller's prices, BUT....Did you try and pay him $20 for 3 tmnt, with accessories? Come on. That's on the border between cheap skate and insulting. 30 would have been a "fair" offer. . You're going to pay $3-5 each for those accessories online with shipping. You know that. He knows that. You want yard sale prices, go to yard sales. A big, air conditioned, nice, indoor flea market you're going to pay basically what you would at a toy shop or thereabouts.
I would normally agree with you, but this is the same booth we got a last 17 figure for $1.00. This was his asking price a few months ago. With that being the case, my $20 offer for 3 common tmnt figures is neither cheap or insulting 🤷🏻♂️
@@NARC.1 Sounds like he smartened up. Figs with no accessories, sure, 5-10 each is fine. But we all know the money is always the little bits.
When prices are high you just walk away... or you chat up the seller and bundle forcing them to give you a deal.
