Korean here: You might want some Ssamjang to go with it. A salty soy based paste. Us Koreans also eat uncooked garlic with the barbeque but that might be a little extreme. Ssamjang will do the trick.
I’m not a huge fan of sesame oil, but when I have Korean bbq, the sesame oil w salt is just abt my fav part of the meal paired w everything else. Also need the bean paste!
Thank you for the tip on greasing the grill with the beef fat trimmed from your steak! Genius! And the last bit with your smoke alarm going off was shockingly funny because I thought my own alarm was going off!!! I was going to use this grill in the house but maybe not!
As a Korean I approve of this, you know how to do kbbq really well! Seeing you eat the 쌈 (Ssam - the part where you wrapped the meat in greens) proves that you know how to eat meat like a true Korean! :D
@@acooknamedMatt lol appreciate the response, our old rice cooker used to be done in around 30m (reasonable amount of time) & just thought zojirushi’s take longer but just must be ours
Hey Matt! Very offtopic and i don’t think you’ll respond but time will only tell I suppose. I’m going up to Seattle next week for the Nintendo Live event for a couple of days and I want to take advantage of the time I have there to explore Seattle and maybe enjoy some tea shops, restaurants, everything. I know this doesn’t pertain to cooking or anything but what are some places you would recommend to visit? Whether it be restaurants or gaming stores, Pokémon stores. Anything
The best rice cookers are the one of 7 sitting on the shelf in ur Japanese grandma's closet that she randomly gives you and is completely in Japanese but all you gotta do is press start.
Matt why do you look like you're auditioning to play Diego in a remake of "Blow" 😂😂😂 I seriously can't get the phrases "Yes, I stole your California connection. So what" & "We are BROTHERS George, we are BROTHERS" out of my head & its so irritating now smh
don't use the pinky method, get a plastic "rice measuring cup". 1 cup of rice, then add water to the 1 cup line, 2 cups of rice, then add to the 2 cup line on side of the container. don't be filipino dude.
Video just got uploaded so sorry if the quality is bleh. Also hey love you
Where the Korean chicks at
I don't care about the quality, that food looks delicious

Samjang is the best

Where does all the drippings go if there isn’t a drip pan? Just right on your mini heater?
Over a wood fire/coals would make it even better 🔥 great vid
Slap a diffuser in between the burner and the grill grates and it’ll give you even heat :)
It had the diffuser in the center yea.

Oh you’re a cook named Matt Lmaoo I was like who this guy asking food questions in my sub box lol
Niceeeee! I searched for Korean BBQ grills for a portable propane stove. I'll make delicious vegan meats, tofu, okra, eggplant, and so forth with it.
Add 350cc water 💧 ✨️ or 1cm under the inner moat.
Google translate box instructions helps 😊
What spoon is that?
Delicious!
