Im a westerner, ive been playing music most of my life. Ive touched on so many genres from metal to country, to classic and hard rock, to jazz and classical music, avante gaurd and experimental, but this is something shockingly new to me. The semi tones and unusual time signatures and phrases completely turned composition on its head for me. Thankyou for re opening my eyes to just how deep the creative currents flow within the all sacred sound.

The most profound thing about Art is that it makes you cry. Nothing more... Nothing less... It affirms our existence not by negating possibilities which lie outside the human experience, but by bringing us back to rediscover our roots - a quotidian struggle to prevail in a world of fleetingness, a world where we trespass our own shadows, and stare at the face of our own mortality with a sense of renewed courage. We are humbled.

I never tire of listening to him. The U.P. is in the midst of winter. Not a lot of snow, some chilly days and nights but still beautiful!! Come visit!

I'd really love to. Hopefully one day I'll come to the U.S. - and New England and Michigan will be a must visit for me. Have you ever read Steve Hamilton's 'A Cold Day In Paradise'? When I read it, I immediately fell in love with the U.P.
      But back to topic:
The concert here in Berlin was marvelous. It was only half sold so there were some gaps in the audience. Towards the end of the concert, Dhafer asked us to come down to the stage (in the Kammermusiksaal the audience is placed in a circle around and above the stage). And so we did. We stood around the musicians, just a few feet away, and everyone was clapping or dancing or both and really enjoying themselves. It was a very intimate moment of pure musical beauty and power. Marvelous.

Merci. To compose and perform like this, you need a soul as rich as its traditions. What a wonderful trip every time. Thank you so much. Love-Love !

I grew up with Greek music .Sad and profound pieces that are still teaching me something new. I discovered your music two days ago. And it feels so familiar, so well known. It’s another prove, that everything , that comes out of the depths of our soul is art, is magic, is bringing people closer , is healing. It’s the essence of the longing of our soul . Thank you so much
