I would change the “supply drop era” name to “experimental era” since Activision really tried to innovate with new ideas like jet packs, supply drops, no campaign, BR, lots of bonus modes in Bo3, operator customization, extinction, mastery camos, and letting other studios than treyarch make zombies

That's true. But as I said in the video, this list isn't based on nostalgia. I revisit those old CODs all the time and the problems with the TTK become much more apparent. Gaming was just very different back then and with the way people played, it didn't really matter. I also am not ranking it based on what others think, it's what I think. Back then, I wouldn't criticize those games for their TTK, but today, I will.
I actually really like WWII's campaign, it felt like Saving Private Ryan, and that's one of my favorite Movies. WWII's campaign is personally my third favorite campaign of all time.

As a kid youre just given whats in front of you, you enjoy it simply. As a teen you maybe sort of long for the younger days, but you sort of quickly gloss over how much good was actually happening to the games because youve been around it for some time. As an adult, you look at the current space and deeply long for the beginnings, and nostalgia has deep roots but you can go back and actually see that it was the supply drop era that was the best. Teenaged, with your friends some of yall in college or have gfs, a job, lots of core memories, no longer a squeaker. Makes sense to me in my own way when its listed out as such. ty for the video.

I think the bonus eras are like this The Mobile Era: COD WAW Zombies COD BO Zombies (Mobile) COD:M and WZM from 2009-now but technically its a spin off of the major franchise series

Part of me feels like BO6 might be the start of a new era tbh (even with Warzone still being a thing). But if I considered it part of that era, I do think it could change a few things (hopefully).

Ghosts was actually the first COD on next gen consoles. It doesn't feel part of the Classic era at all. Just wouldn't make sense to include it there in my opinion. It has nothing to do with the quality of the game, I just don't think it fits.
Call of Duty 3 (2006) Some of my earliest memories are playing that game right before COD 4 came out. Then ever since World at War, I have played every COD at launch and throughout its life cycle (didn't get online until MW2 though)

While watching, gotta say, the dialogue in vanguard sucked massive ass, they all sound like a 10 year old's idea of a soldier in the way they speak, "hell of a world, who's up for saving it" or the classic "i shoot n@z1s, they die, that's my plan" goofy ahh dialogue. But gotta say you're the only RUclipsr i know that put as much effort and creative ideas into your videos, you're definitely one of my favorites, keep it up man 🙌🏼
Supply drops are so much better than bundles because you can actually get the mastercrafts for free just by playing without having to pay a fortune to get it all
Imo the supply drop era negs, and its not even close. Bo3 was in its prime from 2015-2018. IW and ww2 were extremely underrated fun games, to pair alongside bo3. Bo4 is also a super fun game. Not to mention 2013-2015 was prime bo2 as well. You just cant beat bo2 and bo3 in their primes

There was literally no point in doing that because it would come last in pretty much every category lol. Plus, there's quite a few categories that wouldn't even have proper comparisons for that era (there's no CO-OP mode, there's no killstreaks, there's zero customization) ... so again, it would just have to come in last in all those categories. Would've been a waste.

The Easter eggs in the classic era are way better than the Easter eggs in the warzone era. Yes, I see your point that they were simple, but I feel that they had way more character to them. The warzone era Easter eggs are so bland and boring. Also, the only warzone era Easter eggs that are somewhat good are in Cold War.
I definitely agree they had more character to them (especially from a storyline and EE hunting standpoint), but I just don't ever have any motivation to replay those classic EE's due to most of them not being great from a gameplay perspective. And majority of them require more players (unless you use mods on PC). And although I think most of the original maps are better than their Chronicles counterparts, I would say that Zombies Chronicles made each of the BO1 Easter Eggs A LOT better.
Why are you talking about other people's "nostalgia" when it is supposedly about your opinion? if you ask me you are biased for not talking about the things that made the "supplydrop era" so unlikeable in the first place, hell it's even in the name of the era. the classic games are loved more because they don't have pay-to-win/in-game gambling, unlike the supplydrop era (think lootboxes, black market, gobblegums etc...) and even the warzone era (this one is recent, no need to give examples). I feel like that making ridiculous criticisms on the classic games like "having linear campaigns" or "4 player-only EEs" whilst ignoring the greedy practices of the games you like is a bit retarded.
What? I had one little category specifically about the community. Every other category was my own opinion. I quite literally had a WHOLE category talking about MTX/cosmetics and I took all of those things into account. But I still preferred the supply drop era for the reasons stated in the video.
