People are so good to you and relationships flourish when you have a small business, I have found.
My husband made shelves for me like this 25 years ago. One change was that instead of the rectangular dowel across, he put a round one, and I hung my curtains on that.

Great video, didn't notice the toughness from this side of the curtain, if you hadn't of said anything I wouldn't have noticed haha. Just to give you a sense of the view from the other side. When we're the creator we notice all the little things we'd like to improve. These do look like very solid and easy shelves, thank you!
Tough video to get through 😅 but I made it. Good wise saying. I can apply that to just about every project I’ve got myself into.
I am planning to make something similar. My windows have a moulding at the top, which makes it more difficult. I will NOT cut or remove the moulding. Whatever is done to an old house should be done with care, making certain it can easily be returned to original. I also may make some as cabinets with doors.
