I know you're always here KC, I hadn't started panicking quite yet lol. Speaking of Targa, see that Lotus ended up in a bad way, the telly here seemed to imply the racing had been cancelled and they were only doing the tour now at road speeds?

It turned out truly great!! Especially, with the lightening trick, on the decals. Smart fella :) I always LOVE a Cougar! A green Cougar, even More! Hope you're well :)
Thank you, I have my moments! I'm sad to say that I only have TWO Cougars in my collection, this one and a HWC 'Apology' Cougar, which is green too. I am very well despite all the deep breathing I do for SFX, and hope you are too.
Thank you. If only they made a repro of the plastic motor for these (as you know it's used in a few matchbox, like the Wildcat Mustang) I've ordered some 'Blue Stuff' gonna try and make my own when it lobs.
Great work Pete. I think the colour is very close but as we all know the colour can be different to what the camera picks up. The main thing is that you've got to be happy with it. Cheers Michael
Thank you Michael. When I was trying to find an image of the sticker I saw groups of three and four of them together, and I don't think ANY of them were the same green. It's certainly less stressful trying to match.
Great idea with the decals. I seen few different ideas, but Ur idea seems the simplest. One was cutting a piece of white decal paper the same size as decal. Two using a vinyl cutter to cut same shape as decals and using it to spray white paint. Guy service easy because he just copy and paste the decal to the vinyl cutter. See you like to wear one glove are you trying to be like Michael 😜 cheers Graham.
that green looks spankin'good. :D interesting trick with the decals, too. :) great work, lovely resto. ^^ and hey, you sound like me as a kid, playing with my cars outside. I had to do the engine noises for every single car and truck, and of course, went out of breath on longer etaps... XD
You know, I hadn't even noticed! It was snapped off so cleanly I must have thought it was made that way, but you're absolutely correct of course. Thank You!
@@PBsRetroRestorations Unfortunately it's very common situation with this models. I have the same issue here in my country. I was searching for this car for restoration, and almost all of them had snapped off tow hooks.
That's nice to hear. I got a comment (since deleted by the viewer) who really, REALLY doesn't like the 'special' effects so I'm glad for your feedback, I don't want people to have a bad time watching. Thank You!
Great job Peter 👍
Thank you Mark!
@@PBsRetroRestorations you're welcome 😊
Cool car! Very nice job I like the color.

p.s. Impressive hold on that dremel sound effect 👏
I was stunned, that you weren't gasping for air sooner 😄
Thank you for acknowledging how I suffer for my art. And they say that true genius is never recognised in it's own lifetime 😁
Cool!
Thank you Yannick!
Top notch resto! I've always liked that model, good to see that one back to its former glory.
Me too, I didn't have one of these either so I'm glad to be able to add it to the collection.
Beautiful job Peter. I love the decal trick. You win the internet today, with that one!
Thank you Gerry! Unboxing video coming up next Wednesday! Thank you again so much for the cars.
Very nice job on this ubiquitous casting, PB. I especially like the paint and decal work. Always a pleasure to watch you work! 🍁👍
Thank you Andrew, appreciate it.
Cool idea with the decals 👍👍👍
Thank you Adam!
Great restoration. Car went from tired to beautifully refreshed.
Thank you Scott! It was pretty good underneath all the grime and pen paint.

Very cool resto! Thanks for sharing this 😎👍🏻
Thank you for watching Asko!
Great work on that Cougar P.B.! :) That is definitely a classic casting! :)
Thank you Summer!
Amazing restoration PB I really like the Rat Rod casting. Those decals turned out spot on my friend. Great job

Great resto mate
Came out great 👍😊👍
Thanks Big Keg! Hope you're doing alright.
@@PBsRetroRestorations We have to catch up sometime, I have a couple of things for you 👍

Thanks Laz! It seems to be very popular!

That turned out looking Fantastic PB...
Thank you Brian!
love the green! nice job!
Thank you Paul, I got lucky with an off the shelf paint that already looked the part for sure.
Very nice classic.
Thank you, appreciate the kind feedback.
love that color another awesome resto interesting technique for the decals
Thank you, the white pen is a budget alternative to a very expensive white ink printer for me.

I’ve tried those methods on a couple of other builds (like the Superking Fury).
I’m trying to save gloves lol.
Great work. I like the decal technique- I might pull my General Lee apart and try that because the decals on it are less than stellar.
It's a great budget alternative for a $$$$ White Ink printer, that's for sure. Thank you.

Thank you Kenny, have a good weekend dude.
Wow P.B looks like a million dollars 👌
Thank you Ben!
Great looking build PB! I'm totally stealing your decal technique!
Well I'm gonna steal your MOY Morris Hot Rod idea Ron, so we'll call it even lol. Thanks!

Thank you Lothar, I might give the special effects a rest for a bit, they’re a bit polarizing with my viewers lol.
Looks great. Not a fan of rims but car is awesome. Great job
Me either, it would look a lot cooler with custom rims on it. Thank you!
Everything great but tow hook is missing!

Actually 15 is this weeks lucky number JV! I'll try and include more Stooges gear now I know I have an audience for that stuff. Thank you.
