We had a beautiful sunset colored tabby, we had raised her from a kitten. We lived in the country and she enjoyed being outside and she started to go missing for a couple of days at a time. I once had a cat who insisted on going out at night. She had plenty of safe and warm places to go if she needed them (I made sure of that). This was in Minnesota, where the winters can be very cold. We could always tell if it was colder than -10°F, because she would stand at the door, demanding to go outside, but if it was colder than -10°, she would take one step outside, then back into the house, curl up somewhere warm, and go to sleep.
I caught a wild cat and tamed it. I kept it for many yrs until we moved about a block away from the butcher shop...it was hard at first but i saw her every day twice a day on my walk to and fro.
My cat does this, he was a stray cat but every few months he can disappear for 3-5 days which can be a little worrying but he always returns totally fine. I think he gets fed by a lot of people honestly because he is a bombay cat and their physical build is slender even if he is fed 5 times a day (not exaggerating) so it would be very possible for him to pretend to be hungry to get food from other people. I don't believe he is living full time with anyone else because he is 90% of his time with me. I do know that he plays the "I'm a hungry stray cat" with my neighbour because i heard him do it, then hops the wall and comes back to the kitchen to sleep.

Ofcourse cats live longer indoors aside from coyotes which are plentiful where I live there are cars and cruel people if you love your cat keep them indoors!!
I get complaints because my outdoor cat sometimes leaves a dead mouse on a neighbour's step or porch. I treat her for fleas and tics and for worms. I've seen her stop and sniff noses with a skunk and they both go on about their business
Cats raised in home environments are NOT FERAL ! They don’t need to be released outside to face the many perils out there! Of course they look outside, there are things moving out there, they’re NOT thinking, “ Oh, I wish I could be out there!” People can be cruel out there! Vehicles can hit them! Fights with other cats can injure them! For heavens sake, an indoor cat is an indoor cat. They’re not longing for something they have no clue about! If you truly love them, keep them safe!
Post WWII my parents were moving into an apartment in Hillsboro Texas when their cat came sailing througn the door and landed in the middle of the floor. A voice from outside said,"here's your damn Cat."
Last summer I had a cat that started hanging around and was friendly after a couple of days of me talking to it. I would feed it because it looked thin. My main concern were the hawks that would perch on the power line at the back of our property. So I wrote a note to the owner expressing my concerns and taped it to the flea collar. A couple of days later, a note came back telling me the cats name, age and that it needed to go to the vets, but they couldn't afford it. Told me to keep the cat. It was a very sweet cat, but I couldn't- too many cat allergies in the family. My neighbor finally took it and named it Octavia. Her 8th cat. It's doing well with all the other cats. Keep your cats inside!
My family had a cat that disappeared one spring day- his name was Shep.We looked for him for days afterwards.Eventually we figured he wasn’t coming back. Then one fall morning,we heard a meow at the door, sure enough Shep had returned. He stayed long enough for one meal and a nap and escaped again. We never saw him again,my father figured he got a better deal elsewhere, lol.
We had a cat that disappeared for a couple of months. When he returned one day he was fatter than ever, and had put on a lot of weight. It looked to us like he was eating better than ever somewhere else.
The rest of the story: the cat now has a running tab at the marker that is settled once a month. Unfortunately, the cat is getting fat, and the cat’s owner is filing for bankruptcy.
Not always the case.. I have had two long lived cats ..One reaching the grand old age of 22years and the other 21years..Both were outdoors cats..Nature never created cats to be confined indoors..They all have a wild side to their nature.
I have had 3 outdoor cats all lived beyond 15yrs and had a rich life. Indoor cats are prone to weight and diabetes issues cats like any mammals need exercise

If you have a beloved pet (cat/dog/whatever) and you are aware that it gets out, then YOU as the pet owner, should take the appropriate steps to make sure the pet is secure IN YOUR HOME at all times. Not everyone likes other people's pets roaming the neighborhood. Those that are roaming are subject to TNR.
The security of the safe secure house is great , but sometimes that itch to get out and view the local sights and the urge to roam and carouse and maybe be a freeloading mooch becomes overwhelming ... I'm guessing. Eventually tho, it as well grows wearisome? and so homeward bounding is the ultimate conclusion of the little adventure.
I used to live in Lil Havana (SW 8th Street) in Miami, FL. Every corner bodega had a cat...be it for pest control or just as a store mascot. God Help You...if you made the local bodega cat mad at you. You would have to goto another store for your Cuban Coffee or Cuban sandwitch. I have seen cats throw customers out on the street with hisses and spitting. PROTIP: Do NOT piss off th bodega cat
I've lived with (not owned) cats for years. When I was young, my parents insisted that cats belonged outside most of the time. I didn't know any better, so I let my cats spend the majority of their lives outdoors. Their lives were very short (1-3 years) either being hit by cars or killed in other ways (not everyone likes cats). When I owned my own home, I kept my cats indoors. It wasn't always easy, but I provided them with window seats and toys to play with and occupy them. These cats learned to love being inside and lived much longer (12-14 years). I now own 2 cats (one adopted us and was feral but is now mostly domesticated (I don't think cats are ever fully domesticated). He goes in and out, but we try to restrict him indoors as much as possible, but he does sneak out, and it worries me. My other cat is a 100% indoor cat and just turned 20 years old. She is a happy, healthy cat who loves looking out the window but has no itch to go outside and explore. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your goodness 🇦🇺🙏🍀
Aaron is a sweet kitty. ❤❤❤
-10°? GAAAAH! (Californian born and raised.)
I miss my cats
@RobertMuir-e3k
I know what you mean. I'm right there with ya. I miss my cats too.

Chi ha abbandonato il gatto con il biglietto al collo con gli animali non ci sa fare è una persona spregevole io farei lo stesso trattamento verso di chi lo ha fatto
Cats live longer and are healthier. If you let them go outside. There are to many things that can happened to your cat .
I have indoor cats. They don’t get fleas, ticks, or other parasites. They will never get attacked by other animals or hit by cars. Why do people allow their animals to run outside unattended and unleashed?
Is it me, or was this pretty much a non-story? Cat stays out, lady gives it fish, cat comes back.....
No video either, I think they make these stories up, don't trust this site 😮
Just clickbait trash.
Ofcourse cats live longer indoors aside from coyotes which are plentiful where I live there are cars and cruel people if you love your cat keep them indoors!!
1:21 the note
That's not true.
If what you say is true, then those so-called indoor cats would immediately beg to be allowed back inside. Everyone knows that cats like to explore.
Post WWII my parents were moving into an apartment in Hillsboro Texas when their cat came sailing througn the door and landed in the middle of the floor. A voice from outside said,"here's your damn Cat."
I mean it’s all neatly laid out right there in the note.
🥰🤗😻
We had a cat that disappeared for a couple of months. When he returned one day he was fatter than ever, and had put on a lot of weight. It looked to us like he was eating better than ever somewhere else.
The rest of the story: the cat now has a running tab at the marker that is settled once a month. Unfortunately, the cat is getting fat, and the cat’s owner is filing for bankruptcy.
I hope you get to meet Aunt May’s nephew, Peter.
😸 _”Put it on my_ _Tab(by) !!”_
Indoor cats live longer.
@@cjcrawford7443I had honeyeaters and wattle birds on my property. Their baby chick's were killed by the neighbours cats. The said cats didn't live to ripe old ages. 😡
@@troywallace322 was that because of human intervention???
Quality vs quantity!
Keep your cat inside.. Save our song birds. I do not allow my dogs to roam.
I knew it! And the note confirms it. If this irresponsible owner would neuter his cat, he wouldn't be gone for long periods of a time.
😂😍😘😇
That could have been told in one quarter of the time. LOL
Inside cats are healthier and live longer!
You jailed a wild animal to please your self. Outdoor cats are happier. Isnt that what matters?
My Gods… if my baby disappeared for 3 days, I’d FREAK ! Though it’s most unlikely as Tawny’s far too well treated and LOVED❣️❣️❣️(& chipped)😺
And now the cat has a monthly account at the fish market!
Ifind it aweful that this owner Chang lets his cat out.
❤❤❤😊😊😊
I'm home!!! Oh, and go back and pay my tab for me. Now, nothing is more cat than that!!!
My dad had a big grey cat that would seek .e out when i visited because at some point i started grabbing his whole head and squeeze it. Then id cjange the position of my hand anx squeeze. Id do this several times and he loved it! During one of these sessions i looked at my dad and be had an kdd look on his face so i asked him why and he said, well god damn it thats my cat and he wont let me do that!
❤❤❤
Well... This cat has learned how to fish on dry land. It's gonna be expensive from now on.

Click Bait in its finest, with A.I. Voice over, long drawn out story that repeats the same thing repeatedly that could have been summed up in one or two sentences easily, fake images, etc. to pull on gullible peoples heartstrings so they watch the whole video. This video was made in a content farm so you will watch more videos by them and they get views for ad revenue.
Linda estória. 😂
I’ve seen too many run over pets to let my sweet Rainbow outside! Also, it’s fun to see that the writing is in Thai…I lived in Bangkok for a year.
Strange AI voice.
Story sounds a little fishy to me.
Purrecious
Gotta luv A.I.

So that's what she wanted. And I giving forty rations of food to them for free...
My neighbor had a dog named Kid who visited me often. I sent a Christmas card to them via Kid!
recycled old story from a different channel
So, every time the Fresh Fish grocer sees a cat, he attaches a note to the cat's collar, saying that the cat ate 3 fish. After attaching 50 such notes to various stray cats (all of which already had a collar), the Fresh Fish grocer suddenly had 43 new, regular customers. *moral:* It pays to advertise.
