Wendy, thank you for sharing. I have the same issue!! It has impacted my confidence (doesn’t help that my husband of almost 20 years divorced me too) and I stopped wearing make-up, coloring my hair, and doing all the things I ever did to make myself feel pretty. I’m still struggling and since I can no longer drive I didn’t really see the point anymore. I’m thinking I need to do some of these things for myself and try to me feel pretty again.

I am bed bound quite a bit due to pain and I started playing in makeup after not wearing it for 15 years. It is fun and I feel good even when I am not going anywhere. I hope you have fun with it.

I honestly am so glad RUclips recommended me one of your shorts Johnny! The Sephora ones are hilarious but I was even more glad to find your tutorials, because as a beginner to makeup it sometimes gets really overwhelming to just start. Your masterclass ep 1 and drug store makeup starter kit are my holy grail! You're just such a natural at explaining and so talented. Please do continue your masterclass/ some tutorials on makeup for absolute beginners.

WOW! When you showed the blending power of that UOMA powder using your iPhone I was as impressed as you! I have always had large pores (since I was about 12 and now I'm 67) and this gives me hope. Just WOW!
I’m definitely intrigued by the Beauty Blender foundation…I have rosacea but I hate wearing full coverage base. This looks like it’s really buildable without that thick, heavy look. And can we take a minute to admire that eye look?!

Have you tried a green color correcter or even a lightly green tinted primer? It helps to get rid of redness (using color theory). Then you could probably use a lighter foundation over that and you probably wouldn't need as much coverage. I hope this helps! My dad has rosacea and it is irritated by so many things. I mixed a color corrector with some moisturizer and after a lot of jokes about his concern for his fragile masculinity on his part (just to be clear before villagers arrive with pitchforks I wasn't making fun of him or his legitimate and/or humorous concens! I always want people to feel comfortable particularly my dad. He is just a joker and we joke around with each other. We had a lot of issues from my childhood that we were able to forgive and get past and now we have a great relationship.) he finally agreed to try it. He used it for a family picture and now he uses it when he wants to cover it a bit. He doesn't use it regularly which is probably better for his skin as it is very sensitive. Consulting a dermatologist if possible is always a great idea as well if you haven't already! Best of luck to you! You have a beautiful smile so I'm sure that is what people notice about you anyway! That is what I noticed form your profile picture!

I am 46 and just in the last couple of years I have been trying to get more into make-up and have fun with it instead of my very minimal neutral look lol I am always amazed at how stunning you are with any colors and any look!! I love the BB Foundation. It always looks so beautiful on my skin. It’s one of my holy grail foundations. I’m oily skin & I haven’t had any problems with it. I love full coverage & it builds up amazingly without looking or feeling heavy.

I ADORE the e.l.f. eyebrow pencil in taupe. I used to have white blonde hair when I was little and it steadly got darker over time. it's at its darkest shade ever since I started dying my hair bright colors a few years back. my eyebrows, however, hit a sandy brown and then stayed that way. the taupe brow pencil helps brings my brows out to match my natural hair color and make my look feel more balanced when I do my version of a "full face" of makeup or if I'm just slamming on some mascara for a catering job. It's truly amazing~

Hello! First, I wanted to say I love your videos! You are the reason I have tried so many different products. Ok, I fo have to ask.. do you ever review Dior, Chanel, Este lauder, or Lancome? I have been looking for an all in one travel compact that can just hang out in my bag in case I need it. I think I'm leaning towards Dior or Este lauder only because it also includes mascara/liner. However, I have always been a purchaser of drug store makeup and I don't want to waste alot of money on something that isn't that good. If you could please let me know your thoughts on this. I look forward to your next video and thanks!

I would give anything to have you work on me and design a makeup look specifically for my face. I keep thinking how amazing it would be to reach my full potential by being SEEN through your artists eye! 32 and I still can’t figure it out, my eyebrows stump me, and for some reason I have not been able to figure out complexion and eye makeup that makes me look the way I’d love. I will keep practicing!
