I absolutely agree. I am a Crohns patient. I went through 2 surgeries. First one, I had to carry the stoma bag. 4 months later once my gut was healed, they reversed it. In all that time, I observed my gut, when I eat raw vegetables I get absolute heavy stomach ache. When I ate medium cooked dal curry - gut ache. When I ate tapioca cooked, jackfruit (cooked or uncooked), Mango, apple, banana - killing gut ache. Boiled red rice - absolute killer of my gut. And all this I only came to know after 29yrs of age once I went through a tought 8 months! I lost my job, my mental status was off the charts due to the pain and swelling. So I completely agree with you, watch and observe your gut. Saying that I'm not avoiding veggies, but I ensure it's cooked really well and absolutely soft. Same with chicken, mutton, beef or fish! Once I take a bite and I don't feel my gut is going to like it, I move to another dish. To top it off, I'm allergic to shellfish!!! 😅 But God's grace, he has given so many options in this world for me! I learnt it the hard way but it is true, always listen to your gut!!! ❤
Off the topic, I would like to know more about how you dealt with Crohn's. I'm currently going through ulcerative colitis and have no idea what to eat and what to avoid. It’s causing a lot of anxiety and fear, and I’m uncertain about the best treatment approach to take. At this point, this condition is affecting my job, daily routine, and everything else. I couldn’t agree more with everything you’ve stated in this video. I have personally struggled with an IBD (Chron’s & Colitis) and have had my fair share of up’s and down’s. I am currently undergoing some intense treatment (biologics), to control what most doctors refer to as an autoimmune disease. The one thing I’ve learned along this journey is that I am unable to tolerate grains/carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits (with the exception of ripe banana)! And so, I gave it all up! Nowadays my diet consists of protein (fish, venison, beef), raw honey, raw milk and raw milk cheese -- and I am thriving and feel better than ever! The diet has not reversed my disease, but it certainly has helped manage it. Thank you for creating this content and raising awareness on the topic. Looking forward to more of your videos, Naveen! I can agree with you 100%, After going through a lot of trial and error, I finally diagnosed my issue myself: I was suffering from gastritis and GERD-related cough. For a long time, doctors were treating me for asthma. Having been vegan for most of my life, I recently decided to introduce chicken, eggs, and other animal products into my diet. It became clear that my body was capable of digesting meat, and I realized that my ethnicity and genetics also play a significant role in how my body processes different foods. Living in Europe, I initially struggled with digesting foods like pizza and burgers, which turned out to be due to a gluten intolerance, something I hadn’t experienced back in India. Now, following a predominantly carnivorous diet, I’ve noticed significant improvements. My doctor here suggested I give this diet a try, and if religious beliefs were a concern, there were alternative options available. Over time, I've noticed my stomach becoming flatter, and overall, I feel much better in terms of my health and well-being.
I am not going to question your choices, you have your own choice and I respect your clear presentation where you mentions you don't ask people to take it as an advice, but the problem is still people are taking it as an advice, that's the only reason why I am commenting. The reason that they ask you to eat fiber slowly is to increase the good gut bacteria, if you have lost your good gut bacteria, you may have issues with digestion with certain items, the solution is to consume probiotics or fecal transplant. Introducing food items slowly can also help with the gradual increase in the good gut microbes. 2. Even though vegetables cause bloating and minor issues (I am not sure how severe your problem is), they are still essential for healthy diets. 3. We are not omnivores towards carnivore bias, we are omnivores towards herbivore bias. Our taste buds loves carbs, carbs fuel our brain. But optimum nutrition can not be said based on our instincts. 4. Please don't listen to my comment or this video or any RUclipsr for dietary recommendations, just search ICMR guidelines or any other reputed medical guidelines for diets, those are prepared by experts based on studies and discussions to remove biases, they are also suited for the general public based on their available data.

Red meat in kerala is primarily beef, which is cooked in the most ineffective and unhealthy way, which is beef roast.
Great video like always! Part of the problem I feel is our relationship with food and the portion sizes we eat. We eat so much unnecessary volume that it’s hard to understand what food is doing to our gut & body. Think about it, 4 homemade dosas for breakfast with chutney & Chammanthy & sambar. A big serving of biriyani with alt least 300 grams of rice & meat or 300 to 400 grams of matta rice with assorted veggies, fish fry etc in 2 to 3 hours after, a tea and fried snack 2 hours after, 2 to 3 hours later almost the same thing as lunch for dinner. Out of all this, how do you know what is making you bloated, what is making you lethargic or energetic? If you ask me, the first step to eating right is not looking at science or for any fancy diets. It’s controlling the portions, understanding what any particular food is doing to your body and correcting whatever you feel is wrong!
I agree with you 100%, I would also add few lines with that here. It is different for everyone I guess. Apart from that, I feel his digestive system has got adapted to non-veg diet and when he eats veg (quantity unknown) it is problematic. But if this same guy continues to consume veg diet, he won’t be having such problems as his digestive system will adapt to the change. When I was on a veg diet for a while (I didn’t have bloating issues or I don’t remember having any problems with digestion) but when I started to have non-veg food, I really had an upset stomach and even thought the problem is with the non-veg food. But currently, I am on a veg diet with non-veg in moderation, and realised that it is the time required for the body to adapt to the changes in the diet.

About egg comment I use to ask for egg when I was young and now my nephew is also asking it 😅 We, both me and my siblings ate everything when we were children except bitter gaurd. Loved cauliflower, cabbages ,cucumber, chicken,beef ,eggs, milk ,chocolates, cupcakes everything and now my nephew does the same. So I humble request you not to say that" no child will ask for vegetables "😅 But strongly agree with your content as we grow old now I do can't eat certain food which I avoid. And there is a strong hate going on against the people who aren't vegans.

I totally agree.. even for me when I reduced fruits and veggies to very minimal... And started consuming meat as my main food.. my overall health is better. No bloating... Other body pains gone... Overall energy levels is up.. more active.. I'm not following carnivore diet..but my main food is beef only and my health is so much better now.🎉
Yes it’s very healthy if you do workout daily and consider donating blood once or twice a year to avoid iron overload since red meat contains lot of iron.
Full support. I've been a carnivore for nearly a year. It cured me of gas, bloating, constipation and occasional diarrhoea. I can also see improvement in health and mental clarity. My skin has brightened up and I'm enjoying better vision now. I'm also sleeping better. A whole lot of other problems have cleared up as well. I feel fuller for longer and am no longer feeling like eating every two hours.

Plants food is non essential, and nearly all veggies in the market are engineered to increase shelf life, + deficient in many needed nutrients. And lastly fibre is a waste product, not a nutrient, don’t fall for the kellog’s propaganda. I eat butter, beef, eggs mostly, less than 50 gms of carb, and no fibre, for over a year now.
@@arjuns504 No way. Time was when I used to believe this. So when I was constipated, I tried adding in tons of fibre, which made the problem far, far worse. The carnivore way of eating has convinced me that people are just being lied to and the fibre tale is a complete myth. Now my bowel movements are regular and effortless. No fruit, no veggies, no fibre.

I agree with Naveen that some people are sensitive towards some food and they cannot tolerate those. I also have seen pure veg Brahmins affected by colon cancer. I am personally someone who is intolerant to carbohydrates. I feel so happy and healthy when I eat steamed veg and meat including milk and milk products. Everyone needs to tailor their diet as per their patterns.

Hi boombangh, from last year I became lactose intolerant. During my 20-25 years I am allergic to mushroom and raw jackfruit I can’t take it it cause IBS n bloating .now after lactose intolerant, broccoli 🥦 n cabbages I am having trouble.. I can’t take any diary food , I tried yogurt to take some calcium but it is also causing me bloating now I am learning which is causing me trouble and I am avoiding that . That is a relief , when I take any cheese cake / cake I get IBS and severe cramping pain in my stomach that is so painful n irritating.. 😢 now I suggest many people to stop taking milk ..🥛 I am relatable to what you’re saying , I can understand that , since moving into Germany things started affecting very badly with digestion . For the past 1.5 years, I've been following a diet that includes daily consumption of eggs and various meats like beef, chicken, pork, and liver. Once you changed in to low fibre high protein diet your gut flora will change that's why you got bloating after taking fibre. Whether we require fibre or not still debatable Any how today's problem with our diet as you rightly said high carb and low protein. Fibre only increases stool volume doesn't help you to relieve symptoms of constipation. I absolutely agree. I am a Crohns patient. I went through 2 surgeries. First one, I had to carry the stoma bag. 4 months later once my gut was healed, they reversed it.
In all that time, I observed my gut, when I eat raw vegetables I get absolute heavy stomach ache. When I ate medium cooked dal curry - gut ache. When I ate tapioca cooked, jackfruit (cooked or uncooked), Mango, apple, banana - killing gut ache. Boiled red rice - absolute killer of my gut.
And all this I only came to know after 29yrs of age once I went through a tought 8 months! I lost my job, my mental status was off the charts due to the pain and swelling.
So I completely agree with you, watch and observe your gut. Saying that I'm not avoiding veggies, but I ensure it's cooked really well and absolutely soft. Same with chicken, mutton, beef or fish!
Once I take a bite and I don't feel my gut is going to like it, I move to another dish. To top it off, I'm allergic to shellfish!!! 😅 But God's grace, he has given so many options in this world for me! I learnt it the hard way but it is true, always listen to your gut!!! ❤

I couldn’t agree more with everything you’ve stated in this video. I have personally struggled with an IBD (Chron’s & Colitis) and have had my fair share of up’s and down’s. I am currently undergoing some intense treatment (biologics), to control what most doctors refer to as an autoimmune disease. The one thing I’ve learned along this journey is that I am unable to tolerate grains/carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits (with the exception of ripe banana)! And so, I gave it all up! Nowadays my diet consists of protein (fish, venison, beef), raw honey, raw milk and raw milk cheese -- and I am thriving and feel better than ever!
The diet has not reversed my disease, but it certainly has helped manage it. Thank you for creating this content and raising awareness on the topic. Looking forward to more of your videos, Naveen!

1. The reason that they ask you to eat fiber slowly is to increase the good gut bacteria, if you have lost your good gut bacteria, you may have issues with digestion with certain items, the solution is to consume probiotics or fecal transplant. Introducing food items slowly can also help with the gradual increase in the good gut microbes.
2. Even though vegetables cause bloating and minor issues (I am not sure how severe your problem is), they are still essential for healthy diets.
3. We are not omnivores towards carnivore bias, we are omnivores towards herbivore bias. Our taste buds loves carbs, carbs fuel our brain. But optimum nutrition can not be said based on our instincts.
4. Please don't listen to my comment or this video or any RUclipsr for dietary recommendations, just search ICMR guidelines or any other reputed medical guidelines for diets, those are prepared by experts based on studies and discussions to remove biases, they are also suited for the general public based on their available data.

Part of the problem I feel is our relationship with food and the portion sizes we eat. We eat so much unnecessary volume that it’s hard to understand what food is doing to our gut & body. Think about it, 4 homemade dosas for breakfast with chutney & Chammanthy & sambar. A big serving of biriyani with alt least 300 grams of rice & meat or 300 to 400 grams of matta rice with assorted veggies, fish fry etc in 2 to 3 hours after, a tea and fried snack 2 hours after, 2 to 3 hours later almost the same thing as lunch for dinner. Out of all this, how do you know what is making you bloated, what is making you lethargic or energetic?
If you ask me, the first step to eating right is not looking at science or for any fancy diets. It’s controlling the portions, understanding what any particular food is doing to your body and correcting whatever you feel is wrong!
I agree with you 100%, I would also add few lines with that here. It is different for everyone I guess. Apart from that, I feel his digestive system has got adapted to non-veg diet and when he eats veg (quantity unknown) it is problematic. But if this same guy continues to consume veg diet, he won’t be having such problems as his digestive system will adapt to the change. When I was on a veg diet for a while (I didn’t have bloating issues or I don’t remember having any problems with digestion) but when I started to have non-veg food, I really had an upset stomach and even thought the problem is with the non-veg food. But currently, I am on a veg diet with non-veg in moderation, and realised that it is the time required for the body to adapt to the changes in the diet.

We, both me and my siblings ate everything when we were children except bitter gaurd. Loved cauliflower, cabbages ,cucumber, chicken,beef ,eggs, milk ,chocolates, cupcakes everything and now my nephew does the same.

I totally agree.. even for me when I reduced fruits and veggies to very minimal... And started consuming meat as my main food.. my overall health is better. No bloating... Other body pains gone... Overall energy levels is up.. more active.. I'm not following carnivore diet..but my main food is beef only and my health is so much better now.🎉

Full support. I've been a carnivore for nearly a year. It cured me of gas, bloating, constipation and occasional diarrhoea. I can also see improvement in health and mental clarity. No way. Time was when I used to believe this. So when I was constipated, I tried adding in tons of fibre, which made the problem far, far worse. The carnivore way of eating has convinced me that people are just being lied to and the fibre tale is a complete myth. Now my bowel movements are regular and effortless. No fruit, no veggies, no fibre.

I am personally someone who is intolerant to carbohydrates. I feel so happy and healthy when I eat steamed veg and meat including milk and milk products. Hi boombangh, from last year I became lactose intolerant. During my 20-25 years I am allergic to mushroom and raw jackfruit I can’t take it it cause IBS n bloating .now after lactose intolerant, broccoli 🥦 n cabbages I am having trouble.. I can’t take any diary food , I tried yogurt to take some calcium but it is also causing me bloating now I am learning which is causing me trouble and I am avoiding that . That is a relief , when I take any cheese cake / cake I get IBS and severe cramping pain in my stomach that is so painful n irritating.. 😢 now I suggest many people to stop taking milk ..🥛 I am relatable to what you’re saying , I can understand that , since moving into Germany things started affecting very badly with digestion . Hey, I just had to reach out after watching your video. Finally, I've found someone who follows a diet similar to mine! Every issue you mentioned, I’ve faced them too. I've been on a diet with 90% meat and 10% carbs for about 10 years now, and it's been great, though I agree about needing some additional supplements. After seeing your video, I instantly created a group with around 50 people and shared it, saying, "See, this is exactly what I’m dealing with, folks!" Hahaha, I was nodding along and saying "exactly" when you talked about "Kallumakkaya."

No vegetables for me too. After knowing about the plant defence chemicals from Dr. Anthony Chaffee MD & Dr. Shawn Baker MD. I can’t digest vegetables too. Too much bloating.
There is a doctor who popularised this diet, Carnivore MD. He has now stopped the diet due to side effects and started adding vegetables again. Carnivore diet will feel good in short term because it is cutting your calories but will harm you in the long run.

I sometimes think about doing the mentioned stuffs, but schedule always doesn't allow me to do so.
People have little to no idea about their own diet, like what to eat and what not to eat, when to eat and when not to eat.
Some doesn't know the intake ration of water also (anecdote).

As a med profesional, I know several laboratory tests for determination of one's nutrition based prescription. But I feel sorry as I can't direct any to do these and that tests as I am strange to you.
