I named every US state on a sporcle quiz to this in under 2 minutes. It was stressful
This works sooo well for The Chase. In my eyes this is one of the only times that music goes well with the program it was made for.
This would be good music if someone was actually getting chased.

Nowadays, what sometimes happens is, when the chaser is about to catch the team on the Final Chase the producers cut straight to the end of the music. That spoils the tension as you know what's going to happen.
elucidate I've also noticed that sometimes (especially in Celeb editions) that the music simply restarts after every pushback deliberation. It's odd to hear the Chaser's klaxon be heard while the music is still in its first 30 seconds. (You wouldn't think it would be so hard to just keep some consistent editing!)

I love this music so much it’s literally the best!
This is why Paul Farrer is where he is in conducting music for game shows
Nobody else can do it better lets be honest
All that's missing is the string pause when a chaser gets a wrong answer, and the final escape when time runs out.
I love this tune. I just wish they would play it louder during the programme (and don't tell me to put the volume up, because that'll just make everyone's voices louder in turn!)
elucidate we have to be able to hear the players’/chasers’ answers. I’m gathering the volume is limited by the British equivalent of what we Americans refer to as “Standards and Practices”

Thanks! :) I got all of the music from the iOS app, which has most of the jingles as well. I've got the cash-builder music as well, so I'll most probably upload that and the Individual Chase theme, as well as the Defeat and Victory themes at the weekend. :)

I would have said Worst Case Scenario.
He actually started to answer it on the last second and finished saying it just as it went to 0, so he had a split second left. Wasn't out of time....yet.

Suggestion: The Chase “stop the clock” music
I know this was from literally a decade ago, but honestly I think it actually has more personality than the music for the ABC version in 2023.
On the other hand, the US Chasers have better game-over quips. "For _zero dollars,_ The Chase... is *off."*
I tried looking around but I don't think there is... I think the best bet is using a music program like audacity to try and remove the voices. It definitely isn't perfect, but it's somewhat decent. ^^'
