This was my favorite Mylene song cuz it's the first one she sang for herself. Not a religious song for her dad, not a hyper-sexualized song for the music industry, but a song for Mylene.
I hope we're still gonna get some of the missing songs, like the Dreaming Away song or Miguel's song. The song choice of the soundtrack seems a bit random to me, there are some songs on there that barely, if at all, feature on the show, while more prominent ones are left out. I hope we get a Deluxe Edition or something soon!
I'm so mad this got cancelled yall talk about wanting good rep in TV shows but this show got slept on and 13 reasons already got a season two. Come on Netflix!!! This amazingly beautiful and diverse cast deserves so much more!!!
Sad to say, I'm a little disappointed with the studio versions of the songs. Both this one and Toy Box sound way too synthesized and overproduced. I preferred the TV versions.
