"Khel" actualy came from his name Michael, in the philippines michael is pronounced as My-Kel, he inserted the letter H in ther just to make it sound cool. And BuDaKhel is the combination of their names Bu (Bugoy) Da (Daryl) & Khel ( Michael).

I'M GONNA FEEL BAD IF THIS ISN'T GONNA BLOW UP!! I mean there are tons of covers out there that are known and have millions of views but they're not that good. This is perfection in my opinion and it's just sad that the world doesn't know them or even this cover. Even if there are no equipment, all of them can still slay and that's what's great about these singers. This should at least go viral. It's tooo good.
This is so true! A lot of singers from other countries did a cover of this but they're not even as good but they still managed to get tons of views. It's just so sad. I mean good for them but it would be better if this quality singing and cover are more recognized. Katrina and the Boys are such vocal treasures. I can't even believe that singers with mediocre vocals get to be world famous while the superb ones are underground.
I hope this gets recognized one day.

Bugoy Drilon initially was known to deliver very good husky runs midway between Michael Bolton and Guy Sebastian, not necessarily known to be reggae-ish in musicality, just talented enough to try new sound and techniques.

Bugoy just loves to sing. He used to go to school and work as a janitor too in the same school. Once while cleaning he was heard singing and was told why don't you join the contest. At that time he joined this music academy contest. If you pass there will be a weekly challenge and at the same time learn from vocal coaches. His audition piece was a Bryan Mcknight song I think. Based on his background and what he did vocal coaches were amaze how he learned to do the techniques. ( the audition is in You Tube) Later on the show Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet was here in the Philippines and he guested on this show. Bugoy was asked to sing for him and he was amazed as well and asked how old was he the more he was amazed when he found out he was only 18 then. That batch it was Yeng Constantino who won the Grand Finals.
Ginger M His audition piece was Guy Sebastian's Angels Brought me here. And also, Bugoy joined Season 2 of Pinoy Dream Academy. Yeng Constantino won the 1st Season. The winner of 2nd season was Laarni Lozada.
Bugoy was from the 2nd season of Pinoy Dream Academy where he's the 2nd placer.

As a huge fan of Daryl Ong, I would like to thank you for doing this. I'd like to share a couple of "Facts" about him. Hope you'll be able to take time to read this.
Fact #1: To answer your question whether it was Daryl's idea to produce this beautiful cover, Yes! The vocal harmonies in this cover were arranged by Daryl himself. He also co-produced this track. Each artist was given a chance to showcase their artistry by re-arranging the solo parts but their vocals were still supervised by Daryl since he co-produced the track.
Fact #2: Daryl chose the last part not because he was showing off nor he was saving the best for last. Daryl is a smart and wonderful arranger. He chose the last part because it fits his tenor range. Michael and Bugoy are Baritone singers so it wouldn't make sense to give them the last part; the verse parts suit their voices (range) better.
Fact #3: Daryl Ong is a professional Filipino/Chinese singer in the Philippines.
Fact#4: Before he rose to fame, he was a strong contender in our local singing contests; Pinoy Pop Superstar (2005) and Pinoy Idol (2009). While in 2014, he decided to join The Voice of the Philippines (Season 2).
Fact # 5: Before he push through his singing career, he was a cartoonist in ABS-CBN (Philippines' largest media and entertainment group). Daryl was the an animator of the popular Filipino animated series, “Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa”. The animated series was the first 100% Pinoy Filipino animated TV series.
Fact# 6: He used to be a member of an R&B Boy Band named "Voices of 5." He was also the vocal arranger of the group.
Fact #7: Daryl started out his singing career in 2009, joining a band. Several years and band shifts after, Daryl decided to pursue to his solo career. He started being a demo singer and started making his own covers such as “Ikaw Na Nga”, “Thinking Out Loud, "Rude” and posted them on his own RUclips and Soundcloud accounts, which gained millions of views/plays.
Fact #8: He got the chance to be a part of an international reality television singing competition franchise, "The Voice" which eventually launched him to stardom. Daryl was a semi-finalist in this show.
Fact#9: Daryl Ong already has already had 3 major concerts in his career; (2015), (2016) & (2017).
Fact#10: Daryl has popularized many chart-topping local hits that also became part of the Kapamilya teleserye (Philippine TV series) soundtrack like Basta’t Kasama Kita and Ikaw from "FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano"; Ikaw Na Nga from "Bridges of Love"; To Love Again from "Til I Met You"; and Stay from "On The Wings of Love."
Fact#11: While other celebrities keep mum on their personal lives, Daryl Ong is not afraid to speak about anything including his past romance and their love child. Yes, the R&B singer is already a dad and a proud one at that. Sorry to disappoint you, M-Angel.
Fact#12: Daryl already has a self-titled album with original songs that were written and composed by him. You may check it on Itunes or Spotify.
Fact# 13: Aside from being a brilliant singer, Daryl's artistry is underrated. He writes his own songs, arranges his own vocal arrangements and knows how to play a few instruments.
Fact# 14: He creates his own vocal arrangements; from changing the melodies, creating riffs & runs (melisma), injecting vocal acrobatics, to infusing vocal harmonies.

Original version wore out. No disrespect to (my fave boy band, Boyz II Men) and Mariah. What I'm trying to say is, this quartet refurbished the old/original version, gave different looks and sound. The world is constantly changing, and so is music. The style, techniques, ideas, wits, RUNS, and passion coming all together into this song. These four have set a very high standard for this song that will last for many, many years. Will be difficult to surpass or at least equal this version. I'm pretty sure B2M and Mariah will be happy as justice is served to this song.
They'll sure be very happy, because they're still being noticed and adored for their great talents, in which, also their songs are still sung even in modern times. They know that they'll never be forgotten. 😊
