  • My experience with JK Boots warranty service, including an unfortunate further issue & hopeful resolution.
They did return to me with a QA passed slip.

Sorry to hear the sole separation happened again. I guess I'll check out your channel again in a few months to see if the newly built pair works for you.

Hi Jon thanks for the video. Hey one question which one is more comfortable Thorogood or JK? Thanks.

Hard to say at this point. The JKs felt good when I upgraded to thicker socks & put in the thin insoles they provide to help with break in. I think I'm going to love the arch support in them.
I stole the Timberland Pro insoles from my moc toe Thorogoods & put them in the new regular toe pair I bought & they're much more comfortable than they were while starting break in. The Timberland insoles also feel like they offer more arch support than the ones that come with Thorogoods.
I'll have to get back to you once I get the replacement pair of JKs & get a chance to actually wear them for a full work day or a few if they don't suffer the same issue this pair did. 🤞

I’ve noticed a lot of quality brands going downhill fast. Competency Crisis is here

Too many people buying $600 boots! Who would have ever thought that would be a thing? Wait times of 3-6 months is quick. One PNW company is 18 months! A freakin' year and a half? I could be dead by then.

@@Old_Sailor85 18 months is wild. My attention span is so short I had a 9 month marriage and they want me to wait 18 months for boots.

@@WJ1333 I keep checking what they have "in stock". One of them usually has something, but I'm not in the market right now, so it just kills a few minutes. If something really nice shows up, then it's time to make a decision.
I'm not waiting 18 months for anything.
