I do genre on certain days. I have sandwich type meals Monday, Mexican Tuesday, Wednesday meat and sides (roast, chicken, fish, chops), casserole Thursday and breakfast on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are either fend for yourself or leftovers or eat out.

There was a homemaking book published over forty years ago that suggests doing this. I have found this strategy to be very helpful over the years! 😊

Everyone please keep the people of coastal Texas in your thoughts. Beryl should make landfall tonight as a category 1 hurricane. My town is directly in the center of the cone but, I am far enough north that we shouldn't get bad winds. We will probably get 6 to 7 inches of rain so there may be some flooding. My back yard is always flooded when we get much rain but, my house is high enough that it doesn't get flooded.

Noel I completely understand about the long Covid symptoms. I think I’ve told you before but I had Covid sooo bad in January and February. I had fever almost every night for months. Yes months. I did testing and nothing came back so they said it was lingering effects from long haul Covid. My brain fog is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It is awful. I can’t remember things and peoples names. It’s very hard I’ve also had stomach issues off and on. I definitely feel you when you say Covid messed y’all up cuz I feel the same. People who haven’t experienced this just don’t understand how bad it is

I don't meal plan for a month. I check what is on sale weekly and plan around that. I also have very strong cravings so I try to keep things for most cuisines on hand.

Didn’t fast forward through any of it lol. Love the thought of no grocery store but I’m not that good lol. I do a small garden, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, onions, sweet peas. I make homemade pasta sauce and salsa. I do peach and strawberry jam. So….I try but no where close to homesteading.

So far only Little Ceaser but he is eating the waffles and pancakes I make, His main food is peanut butter sandwiches , That is why I want so badly to have a bread recipe he will eat
Try getting everyone dewormed and natural ways to get heavy metals out of your body. Also do onion on the feet overnight 1 to 3 times a week put onion on bed side tables while kid's are sleeping onion absorbs germs .

Noel, you need to stick to a proper bedtime (10 pm). Stop doing chores later at night. Laundry can wait until the next day or the girls can do it! I’m not trying to tell you what to do (well, really I am!) but you need more sleep or you will get sick. 😍🇨🇦
Thank you sweet friend ❤️ I would love to be in bed at 10 !!! My family just all stays up until 12 most nights except Luke I can get him asleep by 10:30 normally . The sun is up until 9 now so Charles doesn't come in until 9:30 or 10 and than after Luke goes to bed we put on a show for our time together,( usually I fall asleep in the first 10 min lol )

Tiffany @all things home inspired me years ago to start doing monthly meal plans and I love it. When I meal plan, I start with our favorite recipes, then easy recipes, and then a few new recipes from my favorite RUclipsr's. PS, my hubby is on oxygen 24-7 due to to damaging his lungs. The doctors said his right lung is 30% scarred from Covid.
She nvr follows her meal plans though. 😂😂
