The 2021 Argos either come with 24" or 25" tires and were designed to run those size tires. My 2000 was originally designed to have the smaller 22" tires. I'm glad I was able to stuff these 24" tire on mine. It's definitely a smoother ride for me now as well. I just posted the ride test video of the tires on my channel also. The tires did great.
@@2artactical55 I've watched it, & enjoyed it. My tires are indeed 25's. I opted for the upgrade when I ordered my Argo 700. I've noticed on a few clips that people were running excessive pressures & not happy with ride quality or traction. At 1.5 psi obstacles are barely noticed & traction is as good as it gets without tracks. Good luck on future adventure with your upgraded Argo. Cheers. P.S. A normal tire gauge isn't as accurate as a low pressure gauge. I believe my gauge maxes out at 25 psi. I cost at least triple what a normal gauge does, but I consider it worth the extra cost for accuracy
@ruffus8039 that's awesome. I'm not quite ready to buy one of the newer Argos, so for now, all I can do is improve this older 2000 Conquest I paid $5000 for. I'm definitely going to need to get a better tire pressure gauge. The 2 pounds of air that are in these new 24" tires seem perfect thus far. My son and I are planning to fabricate an independent suspension system for it next. I mainly use it for recreational use but I do on occasion use it for work around my 30 acer hobby farm. I'm retired, so projects like that come when I can save the money for them. We are also restoring my sons newly acquired 2001 Argo Bigfoot 6x6. I've loved these machines since I first seen them in the early 80s.
Do you think it swims about the same as it did with 22 inch tires ? Wondering if less space between tires could have an affect on its performance in the water.
Mine never came with 22's. 24's from the factory & 25's as an add on option. It definitely performs better in mud & water than a similar one with 24's, more flotation, bigger scoop of mud or water, plus about 1 inch higher ground clearance under the tub. It's also a wider tire. @@hogfan1998

To be honest, I haven't swam it yet. Less than a month after I did the upgrades I starting having a sticking valve issue. I just ordered some head gaskets so that I can remove the heads and do a complete valve job on it. Once I get that done I take both my 8x8 and my sons 6x6 down to the lake. There will be a video for it then. I'm curious also how it will swim...
I've got a 21 6X6. started off with 3 psi, then went to 2, now I run 1.5 year round. Smoother ride & zero issues.

I’m actually thinking about getting some for my quad and see how it goes.

Great improvement on your Argo. Interesting discovery on the quality of Argo products. 👍
