Those 18 inch rubber tracks don't do well for swimming. In the section around 5:30 where the current pushed him backwards may not have been all current. Running the tracks as fast as he was actually pulls the water up over the top and shoots it out in front and can cause him to go backwards. With those tracks, once you start floating, slow the track speed. Argos are in fact slow, but they will go anywhere.
He's embarrassing Argo owners because those rubber tracks are made for the snow and bogs, NOT for mud or swimming. He needs the Beaver Dam Tracks for that terrain!
That's a fact, beaver dam tracks will go anywhere. I have them on mine and have never been able to stick it. They do swim pretty good as long as you turn them slow.
Those 8x8s are badass, my brother way back in the 80s had a 60hp 6x6 without tracks. His had so much hp it broke the chains all the time along with axles I wish they’d offer them where you could lift them and put bigger tires and bigger tracks
Don't knock it...Like you say it is slower but it doesn't stop for anything. Best of all the Argo driver can sit back with a brewski, wearing flip flops & still get into the bar in the evening without having to hose down first.
I do ride, the point is vulgarity and indecency reflect one’s lack of values. Why is it that some promote lack of respect verses honoring others? Being a good ole boy and having fun doesn’t excuse or exempt a person from doing what is wholesome.
Just got a new 1 in this week , 2023, got bigger tires and the bead lock wheels coming for it
Sweet!
7:24 "It might be as slow as old people fuck but it don't fuckin stop for nuttin"

Agree. People insists in flooring them, and don´t realize that mud acts as a lubricant. Low speeds maybe more effective.

Why is the rubber bit for mud?

That would be awesome
Friend modified one with much larger chains and stretched his on 32in mud tires. Without tracks it almost never gets stuck

Must you use filthy and perverted language? Indecent expressions ruins this video.
If you can't express yourself without profanity, you should just keep quiet. Do they not know that folks watch these videos with their kids. Morons.
@@wilburpost7977 Thank you!
@@StatueofGuyThinking My point, I was disappointed in hearing such filth when trying to observe someone that I felt had better values.
I take it you don't ride much. This is just so good old guys hanging out having fun.
