Ehh I guess buu’s absorption is harder to fight off since they’re tangled in bubblegum, so cell’s would be easier to fight off/dodge. But I think they’re pretty much the same
@@zenkye23I don’t think buu’s absorptions affect his personality all that much. It’s not like he became any less murderous, and he acted childish before he absorbed gotenks. He just gained more intelligence to articulate better. Merry Christmas btw

I would say no. There are things that I believe about Cell and Majin Buu. And I believe that Majin Buu has better regeneration, but I believe that Cell has better absorption. Now, let me clarify, I do agree that Majin Buu has a better method of absorption, but I I say this because Cell gets power from literally any and everyone. Majin Buu's absorption is kind of like a bonus to his arsenal, because he will not absorb anyone unless he has to, like when he was pushed into a corner by Mystic Gohan, and when he reverted to Buucolo against Super Saiyan 3 Goku, and even when he absorbes beings they are always only strong individuals that he absorbes, but with Cell, Cell goes around absorbing everyone, no matter how little power they have it still adds to his power, and that is not just attributed to humans, Cell could absorb the energy of any lifeform. When Cell interrupted the fight between Android 17 and Piccolo and nearly killed Piccolo, before that Cell said that he 'could' absorb Piccolo, so his absorption is not limited to just humans, and if Cell did absorb Piccolo, maybe he would have been evenly matched with Android 16 or stronger. Cell's first form, Imperfect Cell, his whole being was based on absorption, the level of power that he has is literally determined on how many people he absorbes, so Cell's power is based on absorption, while Majin Buu on absorbes if he has to. Like imagine if Cell went to Namek and absorbed Namekians, their power levels based on the Namek Saga were like 3,000 or so, much stronger than humans, so if Cell had absorbed a bunch of Namekians he would be way more powerful. Even if he when around the universe absorbing stronger beings Cell would be so powerful because he would always be absorbing people. That is why I would give absorption to Cell. Yeah I think Cell Absorption edges a bit over Buu. As I said in the other comments, Cell mind and personality is not affected by people he absorbed whereas Buu can be.
Imagined if he fuse with the namekians with the namekian fusion, imagined the power boost. Or maybe try to make cell jrs and absorb them using namekian fusion or maybe his own absorption.

I didnt know Bibidi sealed Buu away. I always thought it was modern Supreme Kai (East Kai at the time) until Super reconned it to be that the original Grand Supreme Kai sealed buu away using his "god power."

That was a funny scene in budokai 😂 but we've seen Cell absorb a whole city of normal people and Krillin is one of the strongest humans in the series. Cell would be fine

Think Cell slightly edges it because his personality aren't affected by the people he absorbs. He is still himself while stacking his powers.

Why wouldn't he be able to? Vegeto was league higher than buu was and had to use a barrier to avoid the absorption

That's not what happend it was moro who grand supreme kai sealed away and bibidi sealed away buu.
bibidi sealed him away because he was too hard to control, and supreme kai waited for his chance one of those times and killed bibidi
