you are confused because when he was in workshop, he put strap one side of chain but when he was putting the tire, there are straps at both side of chain !
quick corrections - 1 ) the chains should be all steel, the rubber thing wont last. 2 design should be such that the chains are entangled in each spoke of the alloy wheel , so that they are in their place and do not move.
4:33 nope! not strong enough!!! the black fabric ropes are a bad idea, And if you think about replacing them by metalic chains or wire , it's a badest idea, because the strong pression on the wheel rim will horribly damage it!
