Neat, sure. But I’ll just buy a table saw, wood lathe, power snips, bead blaster & a water pump.

    Get a 4 way pipe cross, plumbing fitting, some pipe, a flare fitting sticking through the bottle cap and a flare nut to hold the bottle down in place. A pipe out of the bottom for a handle, and a valve coming in to shut off the air. You can make your own sand blaster and just piece it together without fabricating anything.

      if you put clear contact paper on glass you can put nearly any design behind it and trace on the contact paper {basically a clear plastic sticker} with a x-acto knife or razor knife blade the design "weed out" the parts you would like sandblasted and go for it . They are like unwrapping a present when you take the sticker paper off after sandblasting , also cri-cut vinyl stickers work awesome too , I have even used maple leaf and skull's , hearts die- cut stickers especially vinyl numbers the thick ones from wal-mart and it worked out as well, paper stickers not so much, well if you do it lightly and dont go over it too much. I have made money using my imagination, its nice getting paid doing what you like to do .

    I have made that sand blaster many times now. I use them so much that the sand eventually destroys the metal tube. It only costs 5 dollars and works amazing. I sand blasted an entire wheel barrow in about 10 minutes. The trick is to have the hole on the bottom of the tube while the bottle is held upside down. Also you'll need to sift the sand (Lowes bag of play sand) to remove any larger pebble that will clog the tube. I use a fine mesh strainer that I bought at the grocery store.

    • @Low_Rent
      @Low_Rent 2 года назад +1

      I’d like to try the sand blaster but I’m not sure I follow what you said about the hole being on the bottom of the tube. What type of adjustments to the bottle caps do you make for that?

    • @Bill-rb9ki
      @Bill-rb9ki 2 года назад +2

      @@Low_Rent I'm pretty sure he's saying he prefers the negative pressure of the tube to pull in the sand as opposed to it being more gravity fed.

    • @Jpgundarun
      @Jpgundarun 2 года назад

      I have a gravity feed sandblaster that works that well it easily destroys tips and eventually destroys the entire nozzle as well. The sand flows like an hourglass and its blasted out by the full pressure of the compressor.

    The make shift lathe was cool the table saw well ive never found much of anything I cant cut with my cordless circular saw with a clamping fence . As far as small stuff my grandfather used to use a worm drive to cut trim in homes he was amazing with that little worm drive he had. I miss that man he used to build the rafters and plane and cut all his trim in his shop and take it to the job site the next day for the guys to install. Complicated compound hip and ridge cuts he could do in his head (this is what most have trouble with ,he could cut everything for a roof system and stack it for the next day every piece!) and they would fit perfect and he never learned math beyond adding and subtracting.

    That table saw is so dangerous looking! I was waiting for the blade to come loose. Also there wasn't a guide fence so that wood could kick back at you. No good buddy. The wood lathe was pretty cool though. 😎

    • @DreadX10
      @DreadX10 3 года назад

      It has a build-in safety feature that lets the motor burn out due to collected dust in its innards. So the un-safety-ness is time-limited.

      An how do u think a transfer pump works with magic? U still need electricity. Same with ur pool pump at 220v Or the 220v for electric hot water heater. But you’re worried about the drill thats plugged in a breaker designed for that reason. You are a genius gump

    • @Frankyboy01
      @Frankyboy01 2 года назад +2

      @@johnnyd4200 Those pumps have sealed power input and circuit board wich this drill do not have. Next time inform yourself on the subject before saying stuff like: "because a pool pump is wired on 220V it shold be more dangerous than a 120V drill". The 220V pump is DESIGNED to work with water not the drill 120V or 220V.

    Sorry to be so late to this.
    Yesterday built the pump to empty my 50 Gal. aquarium. By the time it took me to build the pump, it had already been emptied by the 1" hose that, I've been using for the last 10 years.
    Simply take a hose, fill it with water and dip the shorter end into the tank and let the longer end drop into ( or near) a bucket. Gravity will do the rest. No need to waste time.
    Larger containers? Simply use more hoses.

      It could be used to suck up solids from the bottom, where just a hose would clog, or you might not have a lower elevation to work with.
