      Maybe the American cars are usually big ones so American RV builders don't think to make the small RVs, otherwise they make RV just like the size of the cars. The result is many rooms are not effective.

    • @aiodensghost8645
      @aiodensghost8645 Год назад +8

      @@muxadvent another thing too is feature set. There are some of us (like me) who find slide-outs to be so much of a pain in the ass we avoid them altogether (from a maintainence perspective it's one of the worst features to have). We over in the states tend to also have bigger people (I swear I go shopping and feel anorexic) but we also have typically taller people so we also like taller clearance in both the living area and shower. I personally wouldn't put a dinette in my vehicle, that seems like a waste.

I hope the control panel for the coach part comes in English too. Rear bed needs more windows. I like the 2 or 3 beds...lots of sleeping room is great. Starting at $41,000 stripped and up to $70,000 fully equipped with all the NECESSITIES will price it right out of the American market as we can get bigger and roomier motorhomes for less. I like the micro size idea but that's just too much money for this coach. I really appreciate the video. San Diego

      @@shirleycooleyga Thank you so much for the kind words and prayers! There is something you can do to help that need not involve your pocket. I have been fighting this for 2+ years, through 4 reoccurrences, many, many trips back and forth to Moffitt Cancer in Tampa, 3.5 hours away from me. I am so totally financially drained and even trips for treatment have to be taken on one at a time, based on if I can even afford gas that week. I have no car, mine broke down couple years ago and it sits in my driveway. One daughter is the sole person I have for support, the rest of my family has passed on, my only friend is in Philly, and my other 2 children are not involved sadly. The RV idea came up because I was going to try and sell my house as a last resort because even the mortgage pymt on social security is difficult, plus repairs keep piling up, I can't afford to take care of anything, central a/c has been down over 2 years, and that's a biggie in FL. An electric short left me with no power in my bedroom and dining room, my yard is a jungle, I am just not able to maintain anything. My only friend set up a fund at GiveSendGo over a month ago but neither of us have any social media presence, I think I have 6 friends on Facebook? So it has been shared a couple times and it has gotten zero donations. My friend was all excited when she first told me, she thought maybe this would be an answer to our prayers and I could stop stressing over treatment, the travel to and all my bills and repairs falling to the wayside. I've even had electric shut off for a bit and I'm in danger of another shut off because it doesn't look like I will be able to make the payments I had to set up with our electric provider. Water is due for shut off on 8/26, it is just so overwhelming. And being depressed on top of illness can't be doing me any good. I spend a lot of days in bed because I just do not even want to think. I thought I might try to sell my home, that's where the RV idea came in, I thought if I lived in an RV bought used, if the house sold, I'd have no more mortg pymt and get to see a bit of the US also, in case things don't go as expected with treatment. It's a big ask for someone you don't even know, but If you could just share the campaign wherever you could, maybe it could get a little exposure. This actually has been the only opportunity I have gotten to ask anyone else if they could share this for me, so if you could do that, it would just be HUGE!! I'm really sorry I wrote a book for you to read, I didn't start out trying to do that! I don't think this will allow me to post the link, I just tried, but if you search by my name it does pop up, at that funding website I mentioned earlier. Thanks again, God Bless and take care!

      Hate to say it, but it's the car industry in the US keeping these things from being available in America. They've been outcompeted by foreign car makers for years, and they only still exist because of some sense of pride that the government allows them control over imports. They know that if these cars were available in the America, the car industries would go out of business. This is one area where other countries can compete soo much better if allowed, that they should be allowed to compete. The industry needs a shake up, instead of car companies operating on nepotism with zero actual competition, so they've gone stagnant. There are soo many foreign cars I would have bought in a heartbeat if they were sold to drive on US roads.

      Maybe in an American parking space... spaces in Korea tend to be narrower. But that really is a well-designed vehicle for Korea overall, and there's plenty of room on the expressways and expressway service areas. Really curious where most people would store these, as it's definitely too big for your typical apartment complex parking garage (but this is a problem with RVs anywhere). It's a shame no families can go on an adventure into China and beyond, seeing as how they are effectively on an island... despite what the aspirational signs on the Gyeongbu Expressway might say. Now this has me curious about the infrastructure available for water, power, dumping the sewage, etc.

Like a class B! This one would be perfect for her because she would feel a bit better to drive it because of the size. She's older and wouldn't feel comfortable driving a bigger model. Stay innovative because people will buy them especially if the prices stay affordable and you guys will be the most competitive in the business for sure. Would prefer a futon like bed doubling as a sofa in the day and full bed for sleeping at night. Would like the storage compartment and doors in the back to be taller enabling the stow away of two bicycles from side to side or another version with the stow away going from back to front so as to be able to accommodate a kayak. Would like larger engine option for climbing mountains easily. Nice job on this. I have a tiny airstream and wish I got their Base Camp instead. A camper and your vehical restricts one to campsites.

    Love this! I have been an RVer for the last couple of years, and think this is great! Love the technology, the size, the functionality. The only issue I might have is the clearance beneath the RV. I think it needs to be a bit higher if you want to be off road at all. This would be if you stay only roads that are paved, but not for dispersed camping in the US.

      Yes, this is Hyundai's 1st attempt at building a camping car or motorhome, but it looks already great. Hope to show you more interesting cars. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

    I love it! I’m driving a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, it’s still a great car, I will drive it for a long time! I finally replaced the tires today, otherwise There’s only been oil changes.
    I’m interested in the fuel mileage and I wish it ran on gas, diesel costs quite a bit more here in Connecticut.
    I have been camping my whole life and at 73, I’m ready to upgrade from van camping.
    So please put me on the waiting list!
    Thanks for the video!

    I kinda like it! I see some things I would tweak. Like remove the table. Have a flip up table. Make the chairs into a half sofa (this needs space). Removable composting toilet too. But still I like it. Thanks for the vid 👍🏼

    That is so cool! American-made RV’s are mostly outdated. This one is nowhere near that, at all. Kudos to Hyundai. The Smart Space and Smart Bed is off the roof. Well designed, thought of, and executed. I wish I had and could afford one. I can definitely live in that full-time.
